So is it just me or are headshots not registering lately?
There have been instances where I was so confident that I headshot the opposing Spartan after fully lowering the Spartan’ s shield and turn away to face my next problem, but I end up getting shot in the back because I apparently didn’t finish the job!
Barely, but I’ve noticed it. Most likely just lag.
Happens from time to time… got jipped out of an Overkill, once or twice, because of it. Sucks but what can ya do?

I guess DON’T stop shooting until you see your opponents name on your HUD…

You know I’m kinda glad someone brought this up now that I think about it, yeah! I always get someone down to 1 shot no problem but it takes me to get the enemy use an ar or something to make me 1 shot to actually finally get the -Yoinking!- headshot, its so damn annoying and its been happening to me ever since proving grounds came.

Yeah… sometimes you just really think that you got it, and things happen. Lately there have been times when I’ll shoot guys two or three times before I start getting hit-markers…
Sometimes the server connectivity just isn’t on your side…
I have had a few moments recently where headshots have not registered.

Yes! Ever since the last update this has been happening to me.

This could be to with lag if you have come across it?
Never happened to me. If I miss a headshot, it’s because my aim is not precise enough. Even though lag can be a thing, I never blame that for me missing my shots.

No lag. At least not that can tell…

The Spartan was right in front of my face and my reticle was red…
And I never even mentioned lag. If it were lag, I wouldn’t have even bothered posting it on here.
I think that most of the issues come up a little after an update. Something gets tweaked and it’s not always good.
A few of my games, I’ve noticed, headshot aren’t registering either. I just assumed that it was lag.
happens more than i wish it did 
. There are times i hit reloaded after what i think is the kill shot and i end up dying because it did not register.

Neither do I. Btw have you all noticed sometimes when you snipe right next to someone’s head and it registers as a headshot?

I actually suck with snipe lol, I avoid it at all costs usually otherwise I just pick it up and give it to someone else on my team. Haven’t been good with sniper since Reach!
I’ve been having full body shots not registering.
I haven’t noticed. Anytime I miss it’s due to either extreme lag or my poor aim.
