the head shot detection in this game sucks, im so sick of sniping a kid in the face and not getting the kill, then seeing a kill cam where where i get killed on a headshot that wasnt even remotely close to hitting me.
also whats up with all these damn assists? there have been way to many games where i get 10 to 15 assists when most of them should be kills, halo 3 i was always top 2 or 3 in kills, halo reach id get 20 plus kill a game no problem, halo 4 i can hardly break 15 kills a game because of all the damn assists i get
I have no problem getting headshots, actually, most of the time my reticle isn’t near their head(while sniping, at least), and I get the headshot. It’s quite comical. As for the assists, I like getting them, it reminds me that I’m at least trying to help my team.
The hitboxes are bad, and the killcams make them look even worse.
As for assists, I currently have about 1700 kills, 800 deaths, and 600 assists. If all those assists were kills, my K/D would be near 3.
In Reach I got 8 assists at most. Now it’s normal for me to get 8.
Considering that your most use weapon is BR, you should maybe consider that. While the BR does seem to be easier to kill with, due to it’s seemingly better aim assist and 3 burst, It just doesn’t cut it. It lacks in range and has a bullet spread. I do good with both weapons, but it def seems as if the DMR is just better in most situations. In FFA, i would say otherwise, it seems that the BR is a good clean up rifle in this game. I could be wrong about the FFA thing, this is my perspective. I have a lot of assist too, but i would say that is your biggest problem. As for the Sniper, I love it and def don’t see where you’re coming from there. If it does have unregistered headshots, it’s very minimal, and It is a game after all.
As for the assist, In Reach you had to do so much damage, and the person had to be killed in a certain amount of time. In this game, it seems to only take 1 shot, and the duration seems to last a lot longer. You’re going to have more assist.
