Hello everyone I need some help. For some reason when I play Halo multiplayer games the headset doesn’t seem to work. I cant hear or speak to other players. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
first which headset are you speaking of?
the xbox chat headset?
check if you’re mic is muted and see you’re volume

Yes the regular headset that comes with the xbox one. It worked for me talking in a party with a friend just not online with halo
I tried the troubleshooting tips, checked the network, nat pak is open, even had a xbox rep call me.
I was told that it was a issuse with the halo master chief collection. That this is a issue 343 needs to patch. Doesn’t sound like there is anything i can do until then.
I’m experiencing the same issues. Mic is working when I’m in a party but if I’m not in a party and only playing solo it only works for the first 2-3 games. After playing the few games it stops working. I have to restart the game or just replug the headset to make it work again. Weird.
It’s a glitch in this game and it sucks! Makes you think no one talks, which isn’t true.
I asked the same questions and I repost this every time I see another.
Unfortunately it only works for one game of mine before it goes out. good luck
I’m experiencing this too. I believe it’s a known issue with MCC.
go into a party and see if you can talk there while playing halo,
and if its only game chat the headset doesn’t work then indeed its just issues with mcc

Having same situation here… if anyone have any advise. went to set everything… I can hear my record on voice but when i get to the game sound is going thru tv speakers and not the headset .
