I have been having a problem with my mic lately in which the people I play with hear my in game sounds and an echo of themselves when they talk sometimes. My tv is turned down to 0 and all of my sound is routed through the headset itself. I have tried lowering the volume of my headset a few times because I thought my mic could be picking up the sounds coming from my earpieces, but this doesn’t seem to fix it. I am using a 3.5 mm headset. I am beginning to guess that my headset is just faulty, but want to know if maybe I just have some setting out of place. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, were you able to fix it? Does mic monitoring have anything to do with this?
