Ran across this in SWAT earlier today, and apparently there’s a mod/glitch/hack/whatever that allows a player to remove all of the armor on their Spartan characters, thus also removing the hitbox on their Spartan’s head. The player’s Spartan literally walks around with no visible head, and can only be killed by multiple body shots.
[REDACTED BY MONITOR] an example of a player’s character model that is taking advantage of this completely unfair and mildly infuriating glitch. If you see someone using this, report it immediately.
GOV has been reported countless times, over and over, topics locked by 343 mods/admins so people definitely know about it. No official word whether it is a mod or hack or glitch or what but the Gov guy has came on here to gloat and no one does anything about it.
I guess he’ll just keep playing SWAT and not getting killed because no one wants to do anything about it/
I was just thinking how it’s too bad the oddball is not a skull anymore. It would be awesome to see him running around with a skull in his hands and no head.
> old news people have knowing for a week its a glitch with the DLC Armour.
It’s not necessarily old news, for the problem just reportedly started popping up less than a week ago. And without a fix yet, one has to assume that 343i has yet to acknowledge the problem - hence why I posted this topic to ensure the problem becomes more widely known.
Also, it has nothing to do with the “DLC armor”… considering there isn’t any DLC armor to begin with. It’s a glitch that’s exploited by modding.
I play mostly SWAT, and I never encountered any of them (and SWAT should be the best to play with this glitch…)
Btw, it gives me an idea: if wearing a preorder armor and deleting it makes you have invisible armor, what about putting in the loadout a preorder weapon (the Artic BR) and deleting it?
I’m not defending him or anything, so don’t take it that way but, I’ve played with him on custom games and he does occasionally play with a head. He’s actually pretty polite (If you get past the fact that, like you said, he plays with no head) and will help you out.
Although, you guys gotta admit this would be pretty good for machinima’s when the main characters are in their offtime (But with a helmet still :/)
