I’m trying to do the achievements in Halo: Reach and I’m trying to do the Anniversary Achievement ¨Capture 10 skulls at once in a matchmade Headhunter game¨, but the Headhunter game mode isn’t available anymore and the DLC achievements need to be done on the maps for that achivement’s dlc maps. Is there anyway to play Headhunter now? and 343 if you see this then please update the game so you HAVE to download the DLC to play online so we can get all maps in rotation
I can’t speak for the game modes but for the DLC maps to show up, every player in the lobby will need to have downloaded the maps and have them installed and even then, the map needs to be voted for.
Unfortunately, I too need a handful of the DLC achievements for Reach to complete it but I haven’t had a DLC map show up in years. Sadly, I have every achievement for the Bungie era games (including Halo 2 Vista and Ensemble’s Halo Wars) but some of Reach’s DLC achievements have eluded me since the DLC’s release.
Headhunter is available in the ‘Rumble Pit’ and ‘Team Objective’ playlists, and everyone in the match needs to have the Anniversary Map Pack DLC for the correct maps to show up. Since that hardly ever happens, I recommend boosting for the achievement, it’s impossible to get legitimately. Just make a boosting session in Trueachievements. it’s the easiest way, in my opinion.
All the DLC maps are free to download. Go online, spread the word and get a group together to do it.
