Head to Head

Anyone else agrees with me if I say that this playlist is full of campers? You look for them all over the map and you can not find them and when you least expect it they attack you from behind.

It wouldn’t surprise me since they’re trying to win and that was also a strategy in the previous 1v1 playlists.

I’ve only played one match, but as long you keep your guard up and constantly roam the map it’s not to difficult to flush them out.

If your dealing with campers make a b-line for the motion tracker every time. Good chance before they get campy they will be doing the same thing so they can keep track of your movements on the radar. Beat um to the punch by either getting the motion tracker first or killing them when they do. Still… Camping is a decent strat regardless. Just be sure to glance around corners or lob grenades in areas where someone might be hiding. They can’t hide forever

I’m hesitant to play a 2nd match and possibly lose my 100% winning percentage

One match is not a significant sample size though.

Post was not serious.

I intend to play my placement matches just to see where I end up. Been a frustrating season in other playlists.

I agree with others that camping is a legit strategy in this game type.

Went way over my head whoops :flushed:

While I agree that camping is a legitimate strategy, as is any that is doable in the game without glitching and whatnot, but I can’t ever understand the process in people’s mind who camp a lot. Is it fun to them? Is winning so important that they have to resort to a easy strategy? You don’t ever get truly better at the game with just camping…

I can’t for the life of me sit in one place over 30 seconds without a specific actual reason, I’d go insane if I just had to sit in one place and wait for enemies, like wait a minute or two for one kill, yaayyy. It’s not rare to see people in Warzone who just sit the whole game inside one base with a shotgun or such and see that they have only a handfull of kills at the end. Like wow, what a fun game that must have been, I sat 20 minutes and got 10 kills with it.

I find that when my opponent starts camping, it’s usually because I did very well the first round but they gained the lead in the 2nd round. If the time runs out, going into game 3 I just need to get more kills than they did in round 2 and may get in round 3.

I’ve had a few games where the clock ran out and the opponent won the final two rounds, but I hear their surprise over the mic that they lost the game (as I had more overall kills at the end of game 3.)

So if I have the lead in kills and my opponent starts to hide, I just think “thanks for the free win.”

If you look at my head to head stats you will realize why im annoyed at the playlist. for my 30 wins equals a rank up. lose one equals 40 to 50 defeats its bull. i can’t rank up even with my stats 42 wins 2 loses and one connection time out which was bull because i was 9 and 0 and it just said a error with the server had occurred and demoted me.

Love how you can win two of three rounds but lose if you dont have more kills? What’s the point of rounds? First to 15 instead? So stupid

Haven’t played it as I almost never dabble in competetive but that sounds extremely nonsensical - I agree - Why have rounds if winning is based off of kill count?

Why have they taken the radar out for thia playlist? I feel it would be better to have the radar on the whole time.

I believe the reasoning is to reset the field. Once the lead player gets the upper hand with power weapons it would be difficult to wrestle control back which is too harsh of punishment for losing a single encounter. With the round based format it resets the field to give everyone an equal chance again.

That just happened to me it was incredible frustrating when you think you’ve won and see defeat.

That’s the reasoning but someone stuffed up the coding and that’s not how its working, you can win round 1 and round 3 and still lose the game.

Well, in this latest version if you don’t move for 5/10 seconds your opponent will be noticed of your position by a noise and Yellow square indicating your position. Good idea to fight campers. Good luck Spartans

Never tried it out I have infection and war zone to do.
