That sounds pretty funny, it sucks when you lose an Ultra Ghost though. And of course I’m terrible at judging if the enemy is actually close to me or not.

I always use advanced sensors in Ghosts to see when enemies are near.

Don’t get mad - get even.
I cashed in a sniper rifle on Noctus, and two opponents took a lift to my bridge. I had a teammate next to me that ran away as these guys landed. I fought 2 v 1, and killed one and shield down the other before I got killed. Dude that ran away comes back, one-shots the opponent, then takes my sniper rifle.
I wait for him to start scoping in the monument. He finally went near the grav lift towards the enemy garage. I Spartan charged him into the lift, flung him to the enemy garage, where he promptly got killed.
Was worth the annoyance and lost of my sniper rifle.
I’ll admit it was funny when I realized we weren’t going to win the game.
If he was on your team: That sucks and I’m sorry.
If he was on the other team: LOL sucks! Use your radar to watch for that stuff. You can’t get mad just cause the other team is playing the game strategically by stealing a pretty significant way for you to put damage on the warden.
Worse when you get your phaeton plasma pistolled to the ground and jacked.
