He said "i hope half the team gets cancer"

So I was just playing a game of warzone and at the end of the game I heard somebody say and im quoting home here “wow. I hope half the team gets cancer. Like that was a 15 minute game if you couldn’t get more than 10 kills you deserve to get cancer. Stop playing halo” later that he was just yelling and being an -Yoink-. But ike really guys. What the -Yoink-. Is a loss that bad? Thats now in the slightest bit funny. I cannot believe that you would wish that on someone let alone half the team.

I say it all the time just never with my mic on. I can wish whatever I want on someone because wishful thinking has absolutely no actual effect on anything. And I’m aware I’m an -Yoink- so don’t bother telling me.

Some people take games way too seriously

Imo as far as communities go Halo is in the top 3 for that amount of people like that I’ve ran into…

League of Legends is #1

CoD is #2

Halo is #3

How about you wish for them to become better players? Not get cancer because they’re bad at a GAME?

Why? Better to wish they’re on the other team. I can be as spiteful as I want since I’m keeping it to myself anyways.

Okay, what’s up with all these hate talk threads popping up today?

No worries. I’m not the nicest person in the world either but honestly that’s not a topic that should be joked about.

Another one of these?
Im sorry, but just block the kid and move on.
It’s Xbox Live.

Immature players. Don’t let it bother you.

Start crying and told him you have cancer and will die in 2 week, after told him your story and ban request is on the way.
With all the stress he will get cancer in the future.
gg

There’s a mute button in Halo for a reason. If they’re just using their mic to rage or say random stuff, just mute them.

Just wow. Wow.

So what if someone is talking trash? It has existed since the dawn on online gaming, and in sports before that. One should go to their “safe space” where they can’t be “triggered” if it offends them that much.

Or, they can find a reason to counter trash talk or just ignore them completely.

I love the replies “Its just Xbox live trash talk”…

Like people shouldn’t have respect for fellow human beings just because its online in a videogame…

These kind of people are what tarnish the reputation of gamers…Us gamers shouldn’t accept this behavior as normal…

Sure you could block them but this is a large scale problem with online gaming as a whole simply blocking one person won’t stop you from hearing the thousands of others you’re bound to run into…

Be nice people

These are the kind of people that are ruining Halo for the rest of us. Make sure to always report these types of people, don’t let them get away with their actions. And never tell back at them, you are just fueling the fire and making it worse if you do that. I’m sorry that you had to deal with this.

People are so insensitive.

Welcome to the online community of any game ever.

Most gamers are aiite dudes or dudettes

A lot of gamers are also self-entitled, salty, jerks. Lack of real world knowledge and experience combined with a no-consequence environment means they behave like -Yoinks!- when they don’t get their way. It’s sad but it’s the way it is. You can meet some truly awesome people online but the default position in an online competitive game will always be “aggression”, even towards their own teammates.

Anyone better than them is a “tryhard”, anyone they’re better than is a “noob” and if they lose it was just lag haha.

I doubt he literally wants anyone to get cancer, stop being so sensitive. Yeah people shouldn’t say things like that, people say a lot of stupid stuff, get over it.

There’s trash talk, and there’s a line. Some things aren’t funny.
