If we want 343 to address this issue, we’re going to need everyone to file tickets. As it stands, they are responding with a biolerplate response that says:
They can’t help (at all)
Maybe it will be fixed in a game update (when it’s a halo waypoint issue)
If enough tickets come in, it may get the attention of developers
You can file a ticket here: https://support.halowaypoint.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001711332
I referenced this thread when I filed my ticket (336532) – but I don’t think they read it.
I’ve unlinked and linked my account several times
I’ve unlinked from both Twitch.tv and HaloWaypoint.com
Reestablshing the link does not seem to fix the issue
I hope that they fix this for future Twitch Drops, but at the very least they should be issuing codes or adding these items to our inventory manually.
If you file an issue, post your ticket number here.
I received another reply from support. Looks like there’s nothing more they are going to do on this, but encourage everyone that has this issue to file a ticket with Halo Support so they see that it is an issue for many:

Current ticket ID is #338424. Are you all filing for HaloWaypoint.com or for Halo Infinite itself? I’ve done both, and in the case of the latter, they treated it as a Microsoft store issue and said to take it up with them. So far doing it for the website has given me a more relevant response, but based on what some of you have said, that route doesn’t seem promising either.
Well, the “create a new Twtich account” thing only worked while the event was still going on. You would have had to watch another hour, on a new account, in the hopes the drop would transfer correctly.
Sounds like our items are lost in limbo with no support. It was free so it’s not the end of the world but one would think there would be a solution for this.
Yea im having the same problem. If you are having this problem go submit a card at halo support, and hopefully if enough of us do it 343 will address this this issue and well all get our drops like we should. Plz submit cards guys!
SyndicatePh0biA’s post is the best answer^ I have already opened up three tickets. (Since I was told to do so by Halo Waypoint’s support team.) Its hard to fathom that a “AAA” game cannot, or rather will not, fix the issues of the individuals who have supported the game during its launch or beta phase. We have so many people complaining about the battle pass, amongst other things, but 343 can’t fix a simple issue regarding Twitch drops? You would think that pleasing your dedicated fan base would be a priority to promote the game. Nevertheless, It seems that the first halo championship is going to be riddled with the notions of disappointment and incompetence. Sad.
You know its a shame we lose out on “free” drops if they choose not the help out. However, I figure what goes around comes around, because it becomes just that little bit I choose not to watch or participate in the next HCS stream. While HCS was going, another game(company) was doing a Drop marathon with multiple streamers, content, and everything was functioning properly. I had more incentive to watch/participate in other content than Halo because of the positive impact it had. HCS didnt feel like it had any sort of lasting impression, and the twitch drop fail just seems to compound that feeling to me. The Halo team has a short amount of time to set a positive worthwhile stance, otherwise there are a dozen other games already in their place.
Another one here, claimed the drops with the account properly linked but doesn’t appear in the game.
Maybe this doesn’t affect directly into the gameplay, but really have a negative impact in the community and their relationship with the devs.
The lack in numbers of armours/colours make most of players leave the multiplayer mode, and now we got this problem…
I hope they fix it soon and we can get our drops.
I encourage everyone reading this to please open a ticket.
I’ve open 2, one related to the game, and the other one related to HaloWaypoint.

So here is their reply to my ticket (mind you my ticket has all the screenshots they request in their reply. I’ve already explained I had done these steps already. It’s like they skip all the things you typed or sent), anyways here was their reply:
Thank you for reaching back. We have a few steps that you can try to make the items appear. Please do the following on your web browser:
Confirm that the reward is listed in your Twitch Drops inventory: [Inventory - Twitch]
Confirm that the reward is listed as Claimed and that hovering your mouse over the check shows “Game account connected”
Go to your Waypoint redemption history and verify the rewards.
Items should be listed as “HCS Launch Armor Coatings” and/or “HCS Launch Weapon Coatings”
If not listed on the Waypoint history, your account was not connected correctly. You can try reconnecting via Halo Waypoint account settings: [Settings (halowaypoint)
If the items are still missing despite following the steps we provided, please let us know so we can investigate further.
Yup same issue for thousands by the looks of it, obviously too late to make a new twitch and rewatch, i was really hyped we were getting a free armour coating which actually looks really good considering the HUGE lack of actual customisation the game has to offer, so for the people saying aw its just a free drop its not a big deal… it kinda is.
At this point the devs need to notice and take action, maybe even just release the skin to all players or maybe even people who logged into halo over the weekend, although that would mean if people didn’t boot the game up because the were watching the event they would miss out so idk…
I made a stupid mistake once with a game doing twitch drops and linked a EA account that had never actually played the game, i claimed the rewards then played for about a week before i realised i still didn’t get the reward, changed the account to the one i play the game on and actually got them next time i logged on, im not sure how halo waypoint cant do the same, a bug in their system stopped the account link so where did the rewards go while we fixed the link bug?
I’ve submitted a ticket and I encourage everyone to do the same!
This is what they sent me today… Another copy and paste.
