HCS Twitch drops not showing

I really doubt any influencers will care enough about this to make a big thing of it but I’d like to be proven wrong

343i should just run the drops again on the next stream that’s probably what they are going to do anyway. That or make the HCS Launch coatings a weekly challenge that’s what it should have been in the first place the weekly for the week of HCS Launch

Same issue for me. Got 343 connected, see 3 items on Twitch, all are checked as connected but none show up in-game. Submitted a ticket but no response yet.

Probably not, I think they’ll hope people just give up asking and move on

My guess is that everyone that had the “…” showing on their Waypoint at the time of claiming the drops through Twitch are out of luck.

This happened to me and this is a glitch that apparently no one wants to take responsibility for.

You cannot reclaim the drops through twitch to my knowledge, and it doesn’t matter how many times you link & unlink your waypoint account. If you claimed them and then saw where you had the “…” showing on your waypoint, your drops are in the void somewhere.

It’s sad and I think Twitch should make it to where you can reclaim a previous drop if you never received it. On the other hand, I think 343’s support team should acknowledge this is a glitch and not send people a list of automated instructions to link your twitch account after already stating that you have done this and still don’t understand why it’s not showing up.

We can’t ALL be doing this wrong, right?

Got a response from Halo Support.

Disappointingly they clearly didn’t bother to read the ticket as I’d already provided screenshots showing everything they asked me to do.

It’s also interesting that they want me to submit another ticket for the pose.

We have a few steps that you can try to make the items “HCS Launch Armor Coatings” and/or “HCS Launch Weapon Coatings” appear. For “Victory shout Pose” item, we suggest to submit another ticket so we can track and investigate it separately.

Please do the following on your web browser:

  1. Confirm that the reward is listed in your Twitch Drops inventory
  2. Confirm that the reward is listed as Claimed and that hovering your mouse over the check shows “Game account connected”
  3. Go to your Waypoint redemption history and verify the items are listed
  4. Items should be listed as “HCS Launch Armor Coatings” and/or “HCS Launch Weapon Coatings”
  5. If not listed on the Waypoint history, your account was not connected correctly. You can try reconnecting via Halo Waypoint account settings

If the items are still missing despite following the steps we provided, please let us know so we can investigate further.

I get that 343 need to investigate what went wrong for so many players especially if they want to do Twitch drops in the future but I don’t see why the impacted players have to wait for them to finish investigating it.

If you can demonstrate you’ve earned the drops and have your account linked I can’t think of any good reason for them choosing not to resolve the issue for those impacted.

Asked why they can’t just provide the items to those that can prove their account was linked and that Twitch shows they have been rewarded.

As for the asking of items you haven’t received, Halo Support does not have the ability to grant items like nameplates, achievements, etc.

Would probably depend on if they had your money yet or not :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

If we were ‘influencers’ I’d wager they would have sorted it out for those impacted ages ago.

Support might not be able to give items to players but there definitely are people in 343 with that ability.
