HCS Twitch drops not showing

bumping… because i still want my damn drops 5 days later… i will not forget they dropped the ball on this. **) people flagged this to get it removed, why can’t people just move on if it doesn’t affect them? i swear people are the worst)

Glad to know this isn’t just a me thing. Sucks there’s no ETA, but I’m sure they’ll get to work on it after Christmas break

Hopefully they do, there hasn’t been much of a response on any of this about it though.

My comment may have been rash, might have been childish, but I remember a time where you could call a phone number on the back of your game pamphlet for instant support. Sheesh, they would probably tell you an insightful tip or two on top of that given support. Nowadays, we have cheap outsourced labor that gives repetitive responses to easy solutions across ALL platforms. So, maybe your complacent attitude to give free rides to everyone is the real issue at hand.

Maybe if we can get this trending somehow or even get someone’s attention to at least check into this and give us a word or update.

That’s completely besides the point, though.

Honestly, this should go without saying: any valid criticism gets thrown out the window the moment you decide to attack someone personally.

There are over 200 responses and they’re all essentially saying the same thing: 343 messed up and we’re expecting a fix; which they apparently are working on – not much else we can do at this point, apart from inspiring others to open up tickets!

This lack of a response is the biggest thing, if the connection says connected on both ends the user shouldn’t be punished when it doesn’t work, and be basically told to pound sand by both sides when trying to get support. The fact that Twitch just doesn’t care either is frustrating and enough of a reason to watch on other platforms in the future as their marketing reason to use them they won’t support If it doesn’t work right. 343 making it difficult to get any help on is frustrating in it’s own right but twitch has me legitimately angry. I hope 343 can fix this and not just in a “shouldn’t happen again sorry you wasted you’re time but nothing we can do” way. If nothing else they should just give the drops to anyone with a linked twitch account regardless based on the number of people with issues.

The Problem is, they never said they are or will working on it.
Just the same copy and paste reply from a Support Worker and nothing official.

Normaly I wouldnt be so pissed on about not getting free skins and just call it a day, but i realy like the Infinites Multiplayer and have 0 Customization i like despite the fact i bought the Season Pass where im at lvl 60 right now and played the Campaign. The only realy nice thing we got for free was the Sniper Skin in the weekly Challenge. Not everyone is willing to pay 20$ for 2-3 skins in the overpriced shop to have at least a bit of Customization. The HCS Skins lift this Customization mess up, because they do look very good.

My Opinion is the same as D_Matyr. We should get this trending somehow. We could contact the official Site from the Halo Support and the HCS on Twitter or contact one of the bigger Halo-Youtubers like Sean W to get more attention to this subject. I will go ahead and do that after this Christmas Weekend and hope some of you will join me.

I cant imagine it is much Work to just resend the Drops or just give everyone with a linked Twitch Account on Halo Waypoint the skins, this would be the best and fastest Solution. We did nothing wrong and it is clearly the fault of the HaloWaypoint Website for not linking our accounts even though everything stated that.

I agree. Sorry just to be clear I’m not saying that the only issue is when support don’t show understanding of an issue, just that often in my experience even if someone can’t fix your problem showing that they actually understand the issue that you are facing often helps your experience to feel more positive.

Ultimately if you can demonstrate you have earned something and your account is linked (both super easy to demonstrate) I can think of no good reason for 343 to withhold our items.

The responses that other people have posted from 343 though shows a lack of understanding on their part and a lack of willingness to resolve something that is painfully easy for them to fix. I suspect 343 coming out and saying something along the lines of “We’re really sorry that some of our customers haven’t received their Twitch drops, this is what we’re doing about it.” would go a long way.

Sadly 343 don’t seem big on communication with their player base at least not on Halo Waypoint. Which kind of baffles me.

I think you might be right.

These days ‘influencers’ are key. If regular people have problems far too many businesses aren’t interested and there is nothing they can do but if someone with name recognition has a problem then all of a sudden they can fix it.

My accounts are connected b4 started watching and somehow I claimed it and never got a code and it’s not in my game inventory.

I have the same issue, I got all the HCS in Twitch, but in Halo Infinite, I only got the skins for armor and weapon, but I didn’t get the “Victory Shout Pose”.

This is so true unfortenately. If the issue is not vocal enough, they seem to just not care.

Just adding to the line of pissed people, watch the entirety of the frigging event on hopes “there was no error” and it’s been a week and nothing has shown up, submitted a ticked and there is no response 4 days later, 343 you seriously kicked off poorly, and in top of everything they seem to just don’t care, how we say in Mexico, se lo pasaron por los huevos los cabrones

Well right now they are on their holiday break. So I wouldn’t expect any response from them until their break is over.

But the fact that this still hasn’t been resolved or even mentioned by the devs, is a little worrying. If they can’t handle smaller issues like this, it doesn’t look good for the future with even bigger issues/bugs.

I have a gut feeling this issue will be ignored by the devs and probably forgotten.

I think we need to “speak up” even louder and get someone’s attention.

Likely the only way 343 would pay attention would be if one of the Youtubers in the community went up to bat for us.
