I enjoy this game and I agree with this statement. You will not be using 90% of the cosmetics you unlock anyway so just chill and play for fun.
Hey man u know that everyone who got sr152 is from Halo 5 right. We put the time and effort before halo infinite launch as they announced the rewards in 2020. U might be able to get a picture why we even went for it.
No I don’t have a picture of why you would want to grind for something from a lying developer who hasn’t even proven they have TLC for this series. But anyhow, I don’t know anything about cosmetics or armour names so it’s over my head.

Yep. Even we thought we were going to get more bcoz on dec 8th podcast of them (it got removed btw) they said they would be rewards for sr152 and more.
Its all good bro. At this point all u need to know is they pulled off scams after scams with people supporting this game. For example: SR152 achievement (costs more than 100$ if u try to grind, total Starwars Battlefront 2 situation), JWT skins that were sold and got something else, and the new promo of that nail polish which had cosmetic for halo Infinite but when they redeemed people got nothing and some people got message saying they redeemed it but they will get it in March, etc
I reached SR153 in Halo 5, much higher than SR152. Whether there is SR152 reward has no effect on whether I reach SR152. But seriously, it’s really disrespectful to Halo 5 players. Since 343i want to give SR152 reward, 343i should keep its uniqueness, otherwise it will only trample on the efforts of Halo 5 players.
Damn. I just hav respect for u and what u went through in halo 5. Some people don’t know annoying and difficult it is. Bcoz they made a EA Starwars Battlefront 2 with Halo were everything was behind a Microtransaction.
I’ve seen the stuff on that nail polish BS, who would ever pay that price let alone for this game. Anyhow, I’m not understanding… SR152 is a rank right? How does it cost $100 to grind it in this game? I think I need you to explain somewhat in simple terms, I don’t need minor details because IDC about Ranks or Armour, I’m old school I play to play. Used to play HPC and have a Noobs Playground server… we’d sit on Blood Gulch CTF for a 2 hour match (No time limit) and rack up 200-300 kills lol.

They announced the rewards on December 2020. People wanted to get that but once people realized how hard it was to grind on normal player modes they had to play min 6 hrs on Mythic Firefight (with legendary boost bcoz it gives u 27,000 xp . If not u get 15k xp). People asked 343 what was the deadline but they never gave a clear cut picture about it. So in the end it created a Fomo of missing out with people. But the problem is Halo 5 had pay to win microtransaction. People spent money on Legendary Xp pack. So that they could hit SR152 (50,000,000/ 50 million xp)

Oh wow that sounds like something they’d do given the state of progression in this game. These developers and their slow grind progression so they can “control” the player base is just sickening. Limit progression and then they have that leverage against you continuously, throwing store items in your face and XP boost challenges that ultimately lead to endless grinding or buying more stuff and more stuff and more stuff. Control, Control, Control, and More Control.
Hey man we don’t hate anyone who gets that skin, we hate wat 343 did. U should use that skin if u got bcoz at this point the only good skins are only available behind a pay wall. But yeah not that guy though. So i can see why civirs said idiot like him. Im sure he is not categorizing u with him. And if u got that skin use it bcoz it actually looks good bro.
Fair. I did not bother getting these skins, mainly because I think that the default weapons and vehicles look better. Although I am not personally offended by anything said, thank you for your words. I understand your frustration on this matter and I think it is a valid point to make, especially since you and others who reached 152 only got to have those special weapons skins for little over 3 months. I assume if this happened 3 years from now the impact would have not been as big.
What I don’t get is people complaining about this 3 days before the event. These skins were visible in game since november 15th or whatever date Infinite dropped. They were even called ‘HCS winter’ since day one, so everybody knew already these skins were either being given or sold during a HCS event in the winter.
November and early december was a great time to ask 343 to take these skins out of the game and make new ones. NOT 3 days before the event. Nothing could have been done at that time.

I’m not following, I know of the Watchdog coating for reaching SR152 in H5G, what is the armour coating that is the same as that which everyone got for free? I don’t follow.
U do know the 3 days before thing was leaks right. An HCS skins didn’t appear until 343 announces/until u unlock it, just like last HCS event it didn’t show up before until u watched the HCS event. Im really confused how u saw HCS winter skin at Nov when it wasn’t even there in the files 
Its not armor coating that was given out for free, its the weapon coating for SR152 watchdog skin. But yeah there is a skin that was basically the same as sr152 armor skin but no one know about it bcoz its just for the samurai but for most part it didn’t hit us as giving the weapon skin.
It was absolutely visible in game since november 15th. All 3 of them. You just went to customization, weapons and there you could see all 3. The AR skin was visible as a locked skin in the AR section. BR at BR and Sidekick at Sidekick.
