So will the crappy athlon “brogamer” “eSports” armor be required to compete in the HCS official bracket?
for balance they all look the same, pretty minimal and not too crazy
not that i care since i am not an HCS tier player, i mean why have these specific armors if they arent gonna be used by 99% of the population?
Its whatever you want. I like the esports feel of them. I dont like most armour sets anymore though. They dont feel like Halo.
Rambling… No its just limited time offer armour that completionists are gonna want if they want to see 100%
I can only rationalize it as buying a team’s jersey. I purchased it hoping that even my meager $10 could mean that they could hire third party code developers and start to build out the vast number of things that we’re missing.
I have been thoroughly disappointed by Halo 5’s armor selection and the complete randomness of maybe getting something that doesn’t look bulbousy or covered in too much white paint for whatever reason.
It would be cool if winning esports teams got armour that looked like jerseys for their team.

the best way i can describe it is “gladiator” style armor for most of it
and yes the white streaks and other colors really screw with the asthetics

Something like that. Granted, armor isn’t going to make or break your game. A sub-par player with amazing armor doesn’t suddenly turn him into an MLG Pro.
“Gladiator armor” is a great way to put it. We’re fighting to the death in the Arena and wearing whatever armor we were handed by the grace of randomness and luck.
