Hi all. I’m very annoyed by this and I’m not even sure there is a fix now, but haven’t seen the issue mentioned anywhere else. I have seen a lot of people having issues with their Twitch drops from the HCS streams appearing in-game. However, my issue is slightly different…
I watched Myth’s stream and this unlocked the Armor Coating (although I had to watch nearly 3 hours, not an hour, for it to “pop”). I then switched to the standard HCS Stream (The “Blue” stream), ensuring the “drops enabled” tag was active, all my accounts are linked up, etc, etc… I must have been watching that stream on and off for at least 5 hours, but it was probably longer. However, when I looked at my Twitch drops at the end of the stream, the HCS Weapon Coating had 1% progress and HCS Pose had 0%… The Drops now show as expired on Twitch as the stream has ended.
Has anyone else had any similar issues? I’m a bit miffed, to say the least, and not sure if there is any fix or workaround…

Well I “have the drops claimed” and in limbo land from twitch and Waypoint because supposedly the link between twitch and waypoint is super bugged. so unfortunatly looks like im not going to get the skins or anything ;-;

TBF, I have only redeemed the Armor coatings via Twitch, no idea if they have actually appeared in-game yet (although it does appear as redeemed on Waypoint, so fingers crossed). I just don’t get how I can watch 5+ hours of the stream and only get 1% progression for the other unlocks. If they both said 0%, I’d just assume I had the wrong stream or something, but this obviously isn’t the case. 
I was watching last night for the final unlock for like 5-6 hours and had no drops as well - the ones I have unlocked don’t appear in-game, gg.
Sorry you’re having these issues. All of the drops worked for me like clockwork.
They’re nice but I’m a hipster in the sense that when I see 3/4 players in every game using them I’ve kind of lose interest in equipping it.
I got all without trouble. 6 Coatings and one stance or whatever it is… Had them directly ingame within few seconds (restart was needed, no quick resume)
I found out pretty late that all the other HCS channels don’t actually give drops, the main Halo channel does.
So even though the drops are supposed to drop from all the HCS channels, you have to tune into the main one named HALO to actually get drop progress.
Anyone have a timetable for this for those living in Singapore, I think I am always working when its on? I can at least wake up or log on at home and set it… thank you.
Twitch tells you what the eligible channels were.
Yes, and I’m saying there’s an existing thing where none of the channels except the main HALO one which triggers drops.
Not so much the using aspect I like, I just like collecting things
If you mute the stream, it won’t count progress.
I got all of them without issue but have read on here that if you mute the stream or have another stream open at the same time it doesn’t count.
THis is my problem and its kind of upsetting. Was looking forward to these coatings.
I linked my accounts before the stream; watched for an hour; claimed the drop through switch. Nothing appears in game/ Twitch says that it could take time to appear. Not the end of the world but annoying none the less.
For clarity, I watched the streams standalone and didn’t mute them or anything. They were also the correct streams and had the “Drops Activated” tags on them. The fact that I have earned some progress (although only 1%), tells me I was watching the correct stream and that this is some kind of glitch or error. Just very frustrated as I haven’t seen anyone with the same issue.
I had an issue where my progress was not being recorded but to fix it i just closes all apps/tabs with twitch open and re opened the stream and then checked my drop status. I found that the progress bar did not update in real time so for me I would have to refresh the page.
I unlocked everything but unfortunately the account connection was bugged for most people -myself included- so my claimed items are in limbo as well.
Submit a ticket for Waypoint on browser (I did this as well and I’m waiting on a reply)
Have the same issue with the Drops showing in my account but no in HALO
I’m having the same issue and I’ve opened a ticket with support about it you should do the same if you haven’t. It’s so annoying I was watching the streams the entire weekend I didn’t know the link could be broken I claimed the drops on my broken link and never got them in game except for the victory shout pose which I didn’t even care about.
I’d recommend sending support a ticket and see if anything can be done…
