Ever since the update I’ve been unable to use the emblems for weapons, armor and vehicles that were included in the team playoff packs.
What did I pay for? A BR skin and an armor skin? I’m pretty sure that’s not what I bought. Do I refund? What’s the plan?
And are we getting real server selection soon? I’m sick of the bans. Currently on my third ban of the night, this one is a 3 hours ban, because I won’t play a match that’s 90ms or higher for ping. I just straight up refuse to. Not even entertaining the idea.
At this point I don’t even want a rank. Are we gonna see BR start socials? Ever?
What are you actually doing with the game? Are you doing anything the players are asking for?
Nobody asked for Argyle or Detachment. Nobody asked for “rotating content”. Nobody asked for a 30 tier battle pass that was over in 2 days for the majority of us to have to wait out the rest of the year and into the new year for the next real season.
At this point I’m not sure we’re gonna make it to season 3.
Do I just refund everything I’ve bought for the game and call it a day? Where’s the product?
From what I can tell, most people are happy with forge, happy with customs browser, happy to have 3 new maps now, they are no worse than most of the maps in the game already. Behemoth, launch site, catalyst, and bazaar all have a large part of the community that doesn’t like them. Idk about the skins, the one bundle i bought works fine, but that was one from the first hcs bundle set, thought I’ve seen some others claim they can’t use some of the skins/emblems since winter update so I would report a bug if I was you.
But yea need real server selection, i turned of the local option. My ping was higher, so not using it. I’m guessing it puts you with other people using the local option, which are likely people in low population areas, decides to host a game in their region and makes me play at higher ping - it’s the most logical explanation I got. I’d just like to pick the few servers I know I get 20-30 ping at, because the game players differently at various ping levels like 20, 40, 70, 100, 150+.
Yea people largely don’t care about rank, didn’t care that much about it in reach or h5 either. H4 never had ranked. 1-50 was the last ranked system people cared about.
BR starts in social will upset at least half the population lol. I’m for it sure as long as its AR/BR start, just because I hate the spam king sidekick. Still think there’s a bug or exploit where people can shoot faster than me.
For emblems and whatnot, you’d have needed to buy the other ones. The one in the shop now only includes the AR coating and armor coating from what I remember and I don’t think it comes with anything else.
Maybe you won’t make it, but I think with some of the latest content added to the game most will be just fine making it to Season 3 at least… Forge alone with the Custom Games Browser will probably ensure that alone.
Guess only time will really tell us what’s true or not.
Player base is still declining even with the added traction from forge and the customs browser, and like I said to the other guy those numbers being padded has no effect on matchmaking’s population.
I personally don’t care about forge and customs, or co-op campaign.
I care about competitive matchmaking, personally. Or “precision weapon” matchmaking I should say. I don’t care about the whole rank aspect. I just won’t play anything that isn’t BR start.
And even then, they could make a social BR start playlist for the people like me and still completely mess it up by putting maps like Launch Site in the rotation and maps that have fusion coils on them. I don’t know what they were thinking with Argyle and Detachment, adding fusion coils to competitive maps. Calling them competitive smh
The recipe for competitive halo was never complicated. I really don’t get why suddenly they’re struggling with it in 2022. It was always vanilla, not pumpkin spice.
