Anyone know how to get the HCS Contender skin for your Magnum in Halo 5? I’ve asked a few friends and none of them have any idea how it’s awarded.
Like all skin, armor, stances and assassinations I would say its from the REQ packs

That’s how I thought it would be unlocked. Just curious to see if there were any specific requirements.

Not that I’m aware of but since its a rare skin I’d just buy Gold packs you are given 2 permanent cosmetics and I think rare is the lowest you can get from the pack anyways.
I got a legendary Magnum skin earlier it looks sick.
Buy silver because the 2 permanent are they same in the gold and silver packs. Basically if you are looking for cosmetic stuff for arena buy silver. If you want the best guns for warzone buy gold.

Bought a few Silver packs and got the following:
- Recon Helmet
- Scout Helmet
- Protector Helmet
- Mako Chthonic Helmet and Armor
- REX Visor
- FLOOD VisorNever going to buy any Gold packs again, until I need some new Warzone guns.

I don’t think you can unlock any of the HCS skins at the moment.
it is a skin for being in the halo competitive series

This is kind of what I was thinking, I have all weapon skins, armors, and helmets unlocked and every time I buy a Gold Pack now I just get 6000 Req Points.
Yes it is in the req pack for the halo championship you can buy it cf or 9.99$ or 80,000 req points and it has the hcs magnum skin and the hcs assault rifle skin and athlon hcs armor set as well as the emblem
No, 343 decided to drop it in on us for $10 or 80,000 req… I don’t have $10 and didn’t have time for 80,000 req. I get why they did it, I just wish they would have had it around longer…
HCS limited time REQ pack is where it’s at. If you wanna prove you can work hard for the pack, then play game after game for 80,000 RP like me. If you feel too lazy to play over 80 matches, then use a credit card, or something. I got Legendary Athlon armor, Legendary Halo Championship Series emblem, and BOTH HCS Contender skins.
It was available for a limited time in a special REQ pack. I don’t believe it is available anymore, unless you are a contender in the HCS.

You got it from the HCS pack at the end of season 1 it was 80,000 req points
I almost have everything and I still don’t have the hcs skin for the magnum so I think it’s exclusive in a way , like u have to use money to buy it or it was in a specific pack some time ago , lol I really like the looks of it too

I usually don’t respond to necroposts, but please for our sake pay attention to the last date of the post. Also this skin was initially offered last year during the beginning of the HCS. You could either pay money or RP’s for it. I don’t know if it will be offered again. Questions like this all you have to do is google and take the time to read.
