HCS CLG and AG

Does anybody else think that they should bring back the Counter Logic Gaming and Allegiance weapon skins back to the store regardless of if the team quits or not? Because I want to buy them and not be missing anymore customization items. Also, why did they remove CLG weapon skins and emblem from the collection and not Allegiance?

It wouldn’t make much sense since the whole point of the team weapon skins was to provide a easy way to support your favorite team. It’s slightly difficult to give part of the proceeds to a team that doesn’t exist. I understand not having 100% can be annoying, but I don’t really see a need for them to return.

They would probably have to redo contracts and stuff and I doubt they wanna do that for an org that isn’t even in Halo anymore with no Halo players and something that will most likely net minimal profits. Not sure what you mean with the other thing, but it’s probably either an oversight, don’t wanna do an update, or laziness.

They should remove the team skins from the req collection really since teams can come and go.

Good point. But there would be no point them in the game in the first place

Like, if you were to go to Requisitions then Collection, the weapon skins and emblems that you don’t have would usually be greyed out. CLG on the other hand, isn’t even accounted, unless you have it

Fist, the team skins are no longer available for those specific teams because the Organizations CLG and ALG (Along with now Team Liquid, eNvyus and EG) are all out of Halo currently due to undisclosed reasons. A few of them denounced Halo affiliation during the November/December duration of break-time whereupon ‘drama’ happened between 343i and the competitive community. As for why weapon skins are no longer available, that would possibly be due to, as Lukepower mentioned, contracts and revenue for each one. The team skins gave revenue to the organization, which who would then no longer be part of Halo (as of this time). Purchasing them before the Org leaves would be the best way to work with that. The overall best thing to keep an Organization in would be giving them incentive to say, such as these Team Skins giving light to a community that wants to support their favorite Org across specific eSport titles.
Team Skins should be one of the only major micro transactions that should happen in the title, as 343i does want to keep the tradition of Halo being an eSports title (as it has been in nearly any previous title), putting ways to keep Organizations within this community (especially larger ones) can increase the following within the community of both casual and competitive players.
Personally, this is all in my opinion here, 343i should keep all Team Org skins available and it would ‘promote’ them to kind of be more willing to pickup Amateur teams during cups, tournaments and so on. Hopefully 343i keeps MLG as the event organizer, as MLG has the potential to market Halo the way it was initially marketed when it was ‘top’ of the eSport food chain (Regardless of how little eSports was back then lol).

Exactly! Or just add them too the (free) loot pool. Als Evil Geniuses and Liquid Gaming quit Halo. So those weapon skins will get deleted soon I think. What a waste of good skin designs.
