Im confused now, i just came home from a journey, my hcea game was @home, all i can play is anniversary playlists, does this mean i canot play halo reach with my friends anymore?
or how does this work?

just use reach’s disc to play in other playlists, there should be a DLC code with the game so you can use the new maps while using reach’s disc.
Comes with a code to download the Anniversary maps to Halo Reach. Be warned though, the download is 1.2GB (Which I might add is far too large and has stopped me from downloading).

It works like this. Assuming you have Reach, you can download the maps from the token code you get with the game. It comes with the game box. Use the token code and download the maps. So you can play with your friends 
If you don’t have Reach but you have CE:A you can still play the new maps and ONLY the new maps. You will only have access to the Anniversary playlist, the rest of Reach will not be available to play. Just like above, use the token code that comes with the game.
However, i am just going to throw this bone out there. If didn’t buy CE:A, you can get the maps off the marketplace for 1200 MS points.
