HCE Oddball - Does it have a game timer?

Can anyone tell me if there is a game timer in HCE oddball? I got stuck in a game a few days ago where the other team was more interested in spawn camping my over-matched team. It was painful and it seemed like there was no timer. So the game could literally go forever until a team finally holds the ball for five minutes. My team was getting wrecked and wrecked for a while. It wasn’t until we were getting close to winning the game that the other team started holding onto the ball. Which pissed me off. We still managed to win by only a few seconds, thanks to the other team’s arrogance, but it was a really awful experience. 343 needs to put a timer into the game so that it can’t go on endlessly while helpless players like myself get killed over and over again. You can’t force an objective, but you should be able to put a limit on how long a game can go.

Pretty sure there is a timer but CE gsmes can last a long time. Just like CTF games, the game eventually ends even if no one scores a flag.

I’d be curious to know how long it is if it’s there.
