November 15th is the 15 year anniversary of HCE. 343I needs to bundle all the maps from CE 1.5 as DLC. I don’t normally advocate paying for new content. However, in this case. I’d be willing to drop $40+ on H2C & CE(1.5) maps. These maps already exist, they just need to be ported.
I would be into it. More so if it was free lol
I’ll do anything for the MCC to get attention. I’m more than willing to pay for new content. There’s no incentive for them to do it for free.
i would be the happiest person in the world if they added the 1.5 maps. I found a forged version of Downrush on Halo 5 and its awesome to play when you turn of spartan abilities and spawn with the CE Pistol

I think it was odd that the HCE Anniversary maps weren’t included in the MCC. However I imagine they would need to remaster Reach for Xbox One in order to port them over.

I would assume those are maps created by the PC community for Halo Custom Edition. I don’t know how 343i would sell maps for Halo CE, either the original or on MCC. And I don’t see 343i doing anything for free (even Halo 5 only gets updates because it encourages REQ sales).

Those maps weren’t really CEA maps at all. It was just a Reach map pack that was inspired by CE maps. Those maps will stay exclusively within Halo Reach.
