Hayabusa Return pls

I want this returned in halo 4 with insane achievements linked to each piece of armor. what do you guys think?

Doesn’t pathfinder kind of look like Hayabusa? Or were my eyes playing tricks on me?

I respectfully disagree OP.

Why?

Hayabusa armour was a cross-promotion between a different game, I think. Can’t remember which game exactly. All I remember is Microsoft struck a deal where Hayabusa was included in Halo 3 and in return Master Chief could appear in the opposing game as a character.

Regardless, I doubt Hayabusa will be included at all in Halo 4. Maybe a spiritual successor but not Hayabusa as itself.

 thanks for that bit of information. with that being said would you still like some kind of super achievement armor?

Wasn’t it a promotional armour or something?

I don’t think it will be returning at all

Hayabusa. No. itd be nice but it wont. Something like Katana. Yes. Please.

Yes, it was. It was based on Ryu Hayabusa’s outfit in the Dead or Alive/Ninja Gaiden series. The other half of the cross-promotion was that there was a playable SPARTAN II in DOA4 (Nicole-458).

It’s not unique anymore and I’m kinda tired of it.

Yeah that’s right. I believe it was Dead or Alive 4.

Yes, it was Dead or Alive 4. :stuck_out_tongue: I remember now. It wasn’t Master Chief that appeared in the game, though. It was another spartan. A female. Team Ninja was included in the credits of Halo 3, as-well (as a thank-you for the armour design gesture).

The game was Dead or Alive. You could play as a spartan in the 360 launch title/exclusive DoA 4. Also Ninja Gaiden, main character was Ryu Hayabusa. Ninja Gaiden was an xbox exclusive for years, but since Halo 3 it’s been ported to PS3. So never gonna happen, thanks to Team Ninja going multi platform (which is because the 360 sold like crap in Japan).

Of course the 360 sold like crap in japan. Everybody there is a couple streets away from Sony.

Hayabusa looked pretty dumb IMO, it just didn’t fit in with the rest of the armour.

Hopefuly they do have some good armour for getting the hardest achievements. It’d be cool if it was Mark V.

Honestly i though that the armor fit quite nicely canonically. Since the Spartans were named after…well the Spartans that they would have also studied the old samurai. So having a samurai ish armor really would be quite appropriate.

Has more to do with how it’s a big ugly box and it’s biggest franchise is a FPS, a genre that doesn’t exactly have a very wide audience in Japan.

You do realize it’s not as simple as just putting it in the game right?

The Hayabusa Armor is copyrighted to another company owning the character Ryu Hayabusa. Microsoft would have to have another deal with that company to get it back…can’t people just be happy it was a one time thing and move on…

I don’t want to see another katana until it is weaponized in the Halo universe.

I would love all past armouries to return, AS WELL as a load of new armour. Now that’d be awesome. Every’d be unique and there’d be way more room for customisation.
