Who else thinks they should add hayabusa armour in infinite? I was never able to experience the hayabusa armour because I only had the pvp disk
never was a fan of it. thought it was out of place, much like the armors from 4/5. lots of people used it though.
edit: I always thought the shoulder pads were awesome though. the chest piece would be cool without the katana. the helmet is a straight up power ranger helmet lol
It would be pretty interesting to see Hayabusa armor to return, but I think its very unlikely. Bungie/MS allowed Team Ninja to put a Spartan in Dead or Alive 4, and in return they were allowed to use Ryu Hayabusa’s armor in Halo 3. In hindsight it seemed like a really random cross over, but the armor was pretty bad -Yoink-.
I’m down for that, the more armor the better.

While I loved it back in the day (really who didn’t?) I am not so keen on it now. Though I am all for more armor customization and I know people love it so why not? The katana triggers me now though. Maybe if they somehow fused it with an energy sword to make some sort of energy katana the UNSC made alongside the elites… just not a fan of unusable out of place weaponry I guess
Highly unlikely it will come back. 343 needs to focus on making sweet original armor, halo 5 had a couple of cool sets but most of them were ugly. I also hope they do what they did with Hayabusa armor though where you had to get all of the skulls.
the Hayabusa armor will never come back since this has been ask all since halo 4 to get it back and back then it was all be told it will never come back.

They cannot simply add the Hayabusa armour. Hayabusa is owned by Team Ninja. It was a deal between Team Ninja and Bungie. Dead or Alive 4 got Spartan Nicole as a playable character and we got the Hayabusa armour. I suppose 343i could approach Team Ninja and ask for the rights to use it, but now you know why they cannot just add it in.

i would actually quite like more stuff in that style, maybe a knight or a full blown samurai i think they should take the hayabusas general idea, a ronen spartan, and evolve it
If possible yes. Excited to see all the 3/Reach armour return in the new art style.
Heck make it an armor even if it is not a UNSC Spartan.
I made a thread about possible insurrectionist Spartan (5th generation). Put Hayabusa in there as canon.
Yes, but it should be one of the hardest armours in the game to unlock. You should have to perform an amazing feat to unlock it. Think Recon armour in Halo 3. Otherwise it’s just going to get overused again because everybody will want to look like a badass ninja.

Not going to lie to you i dont think hayabusa would look good withe the art style, but if they do add it i think they will make it work with art style they have.
I also think they should make master chiefs new armour only unlockable threw completing the campaign on LASO, let me no your thoughts down bellow tell me if its to hard or if it should be REALLY difficult because the new armour design is amazing.

I unfortunately doubt this armor variant will make a return as it deals with licensing and legal concerns with another development studio.
However, I am all for EARNING armor in similar methods rather then the bland rank up unlocks and crate systems. I feel like that’s what really gave the previous games their fundamental replay value.
Oh God now I’m thinking about Hayabusa in slipspace engine, need it.
