So i would really like to see hayabusa brought back in Halo infinite, now i heard things in the past that it wont come back because of being inspired by ninja gaiden games or something. I dont know if theres some legal reason for not being able to bring it back but i would really like to see it again or at least know why it cant be brought back.
I believe it is a legal reason so they’d have to get permission from the other guys. That or come up with a new design the resembles hayabusa in some way

Personally, I always thought their redesign of Hayabusa was the Shinobi armor design in Halo 5. Might be entirely wrong, but has its own ground by the name.
As for bringing back Hayabusa, it could be what Limy said. It could be a legal issue, with Bungie keeping Hayabusa to itself, though the assumption has its flaws, such as Halo now belonging to 343 and therefore own the franchise and all of its pieces and parts. But I may be completely wrong.
Another theory is 343 wanted to make something separate from the old trilogy. They wanted to make their own Halo, and as a result, deserted older designs but kept some of what was a staple to Halo. They just so happened to determine that Hayabusa wasn’t as much of a staple, or other reasons varying. We don’t really know. Or at least, I don’t really know. Either way, I think its possible Hayabusa could return in Infinite. But don’t keep your hopes up on it.

We can only have a resembling armor set in it’s place due to copyright issues.

Bungie wouldn’t be the owners of Hayabusa. That would be the creators of Dead or Alive.
Halo 3 got Hayabusa armor. Dead or Alive got a Spartan as a fighter.

Correct, Bungie are not the owners of Hayabusa, Tecmo / Team Ninja are, it’s a design of Ryu Hayabusa’s head piece from Ninja Gaiden / DoA and stckrboy linked why we cannot simply have it added. I suppose it’s possible for 343i to have a pow wow with Tecmo / Team Ninja to get permission, but I’m not holding my breath.

I understood what you wrote and replied with an appropriate post. Yes it’s a good set, we simply cannot have it, and you seem to know why.
