Hayabusa Armor?

I miss the Hayabusa armor. Could there maybe a way to earn that? Or is the Achilles armor the replacement for the Hayabusa armor?

Absolutely no. Copyright reasons to be precise. You see, The Hayabusa was designed after Ryu Hayabusa’s armor from Ninja Gaiden as part of a collaboration between Bungie and Team Ninja (since they were able to get a Spartan from Halo for DoA4) That deal has ended and they would need TN’s permission to use it unless they want to deal with copyright infringement.

I figured that was probably what it was. So in turn to not having the rights, they design a new armor, aka Achilles, to replace it.

I think they could probably design something that takes inspiration from the original Hayabusa armour but still have it be different enough from the original to avoid copyright infringement.

the shinobi is apparently the spiritual successor to Hayabusa’s design (minus swapping the ninja design with samurai).
