Hi everyone my friends and I were wondering if Hayabusa Armor would be released as a new specialization if such a thing were to happen?
Hi,
I don’t think it’s possible to add new armor to the game, (something to do with the way they’re linked to map files I think).
There are already 70 Helmets in the game including the Skins though.
No.
Somebody with knowledge on the Bungie/Hayabusa topic can fill in why not. I don’t remember the exact reasoning.
maybe, maybe not, bungie could do it cos the makers of ninja gaiden had MC in one of there games so they let bungie put hayabusa in halo 3, BUT they were gonna make another deal for halo 4 but no one knows if it went through or not
Nope. Next best thing is Wetwork armor.
I wish there would be. Halo 4 armor is atrocious.
Bungie made a deal with Ninja Theory who developed Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaidan. The Hyabusa armor was based off Ryu Hyabusa from Ninja Gaidan, in exchange a female Spartan named Nicole was a playable character in Dead or Alive 4.
Someone Did a render of what Hyabusa would look like in halo 4, but it wont exist in Halo 4 unless another deal is made with Ninja Theory.

I was wondering something similar, you gave me the information I needed, thank you Sir, sad to know this since the Hayabusa armor with the katana was by far the greatest, but anyway, I dont even know where is this game going anymore.
I kind of thpugh it was replaced by the Raider armor. Sad replacement in my opinion.

It was replaced by both the wetwork and the raider armor.

Team Ninja not Ninja Theory. Ninja Theory made these games: Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry.
Team Ninja and 343i had a chance to make another deal with DOA5/Ninja Gaiden 3 releasing in the same year as Halo 4, but they didn’t even talk.
I would love to see a new Hayabusa armor in Halo 4, but like the others said, it won’t happen, due to not only the Team Ninja thing, but because all of the armor is linked to every map. I absolutely hate the way Bungie/343i decided to do this because it limits adding extra armor, even skins or emblems. What’s on disk is the only thing that can be unlocked.
I was really hoping that 343i was going to code the armor differently with Halo 4 seeing as they teased with adding armor in Halo: Reach back when the Defiant map pack was released.
So sad 343i, so sad.
Yup, it was going to be in Halo 4, but it was scrapped for reasons unknown. Either they couldn’t get a deal with Team Ninja or 343 had a change of heart and decided they didn’t want Hayabusa in Halo 4 (but the model was already created beforehand), we don’t know.
mark V best!!! if mark Vi came, why not the V?

343 didn’t “tease” about adding armor in Reach with that Defiant Map Pack screenshot.
The “Guard” Helmet was there and 343 said nothing about it.
In all likelihood it was a developer only build that the screenshot came out of with specialty armor that could never be added to the game.
We have the closest thing to it, Wetwork.
Wow, I remember this thread, my post is up there, and STOP BRINGING BACK DEAD THREADS.
