Having to re-adjust settings every (other) time I start the game?

Is anyone else having this issue? You set the settings in game, and think, okay. When I close and start it next time, it’ll stay the same. Surprise! It resets the settings and brings up the settings menu every time or every other time you start up instead of… I don’t know, keeping the settings saved for you like literally every other modern game? I hate it because I also have to reset my accessibility options (a lot of the flashy effects give me nausea/headaches) and there’s kind of a lot of them. I’d really like to just jump into the game and get going. :confused:

Is this a bug or a feature? Anybody know? One would think they would have fixed this by now…

Oh, thank you for this!! The first link sounds like my problem, I’ll dig into that and see if I can’t find a fix.

If you’re on steam, uncheck “save to steam cloud” in the game’s steam properties.
