I am fairly new to Forge in Halo 5 and keep running into serious issues that are very frustrating. The main problem is objects disappearing from the map after assigning scripts to them. I frequently save, exit and return after making additions to ensure that everything works ok on match start. After doing this for multiple hours I finally felt like I was getting somewhere but then it all went wrong…horribly wrong. A main chunk of my creation vanished after making a small adjustment to the map. The objects that were wiped had been untouched and saved over multiple times with no issue until now. Does this happen often with scripting objects to spawn/despawn after interacting with terminals or blowing up barrels? Since it is happening frequently I figure it must be user error but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Watched plenty of youtube vids on scripting and followed their advice but keep failing. Is this happening to anyone else? I want to use forge to create unique maps that require a bit of puzzle solving and creativity to “complete” but am about to quit if this continues.
