Hey.
I’m trying to make a map where you have to jump accoros platforms that fall to the ground as you jump of them.
I figured i’d just use the method we used in Halo 3, that is, putting an item on top of another, than saving the map, then deleting the item thats under it.
This worked… For fusion coils.
I can’t seem to get it for 1x1 flat blocks.
Can somone help me out here?
Unfortunately Bungie made the normal setting act differently when compared to Halo 3’s blocks. Normal objects only stay normal in Forge as long as they don’t sit still for more than a few seconds, and don’t move at all in Custom Games. You could try using Crates to achieve the same affect though.
Yea once a forge block or structure comes to a resting point it will not move after that, the best way to go about it is to use some sort of scenery object, or do what the guy said above, use crates and etc.
OP, you’ll have to use a movable for the task – that is, a Fusion Coil, a Crate, etc…

Actually, Reach immovables set to “Normal” function exactly as Halo 3’s immovables did. They move when controlled in Forge, and “stick” once they remain at rest for about five seconds.
Compare the behavior of a Block 1x1 Flat to, say, a Double Box in Foundry.
None of this helps the OP, of course…
