Is it only me? I can’t aim properly and I’m finding it difficult to kill, even the bots and I changed my sensitivity. Any advice?
PD: I’ve enjoyed it so far, it’s just that I suck. Hahaha.

i spent my first 90 minutes in the shooting range when i got into the flight messing with the diff guns and how they work and the settings for sensitivty. its boring and annoying but u got to do it. and then the obvious practice, practice, practice.
Are you on PC? If so it may be the input delay from the fact the game runs at windowed borderless rather than fullscren.

Guess I’ll start practicing more and trying the different guns. Hope I can improve, hahaha.
Aim assist is low or even nonexistent in the current build. Definitely needs to be turned up a small amount in the full game. Adjusting sensitivities and deadlines helps but only so much.
Yes, aim assist is so low, it makes the game very frustrating to play with a controller. I’m actually upset with 343 about this. Halo CE was a big deal in large part because it was the first console FPS that actually worked very well. And it worked due to the aim assist in it. This basic fact seems to have flown straight over their heads in Infinite’s development. I would bump the aim assist levels up to a little under Halo 3’s level in the next flight/final game. I would keep the bullet magnetism (or whatever you want to call bullets curving into enemies) at the same level it’s at now, and MAYBE increase it a tiny bit to make up for network variances.
Yeah some Guns I’ve found really hard to aim with on controller (commando cough cough) and I would consider myself to be very good halo player. I can’t imagine how it must be for casual players trying to pick this up. They might need to increase aim assist a tad bit while still making it challenging to hit BR shots unlike the earlier halo games.
Ive been adjusting. You get better. Im better at ckose to mediumish range. Longer range, yeah either better aim assist or longer rrr on some of the rifles or pistoke maybe.
Youll get better though

I completely agree with this ^

Yes, I’m only worried 343 will listen to us, but make the precision weapons too good like in all the Halo games before 5. I generally dislike 5 for many reasons, but weapon balance is something they got pretty right in that game. I really don’t like extremely low average time to kill gameplay in Halo. It’s not Halo. I play Battlefield if I want that. That franchise does it better.

I agree it’s crazy how hard it is to hit shots with the commando
Same. Any other game I have pretty damn good aim across controller and M+KB (CSGO, Apex, COD, MCC) Here it feels clunky and like my aim goes all over the place. Dk what’s with it but I hope it gets fixed. It doesn’t feel natural in the same sense all these other games do it.
It’s not just you, the aim assist is far too low. Its not even about getting better at aiming, It’s just very weird and makes the game feel off. Really hope they adjust it. It’s a deal breaker forsure.
The game is great and has a lot of potential, i like the way it plays much better than the previous few games. only suggestions I have are:
