Having a hard time enjoying H2C

I typically like to cycle between all the games in the collection. Usually each game has a mode that I can enjoy, but often when I try to give H2C another chance it’s usually non-stop losses. I really enjoy the crispness of H2A, but actual H2C just feels odd. Even in all other titles I can at least hold my own in a lopsided match, but something about H2C is off. The cross hair feels ridiculously large at higher FOV and half the time I can’t tell if my shots are landing.

I wish there was theater support for CE and H2C so I can at least go back and review my gameplay or scrutinize for button combos or cheaters. I’ve tried practicing button combos, but from what I understand it’s much harder to execute in MCC due to the increased frame rate.

Maybe adding the features below would go a long way to improving the feel of the game.

  • An anniversary HUD toggle similar to HCE. With a smaller reticule specifically for the BR as well as HUD elements to be more opaque. Maybe even move the shield bar to the top of the screen to be more inline with all other titles.
  • Free camera post death. Often times I’m completely gibbed and have no idea what the hell happened. The death cam that follows your rag doll is completely fixed and often times not informative. In later games you can use the right analog stick to change the viewing angle of your rag doll to get a better idea of how you died. If possible to back port this feature to H2C.
  • Theater support. Probably to development intensive, but would also alleviate issues from above point.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Both of the 2’s in general are just bad. H2C has basically only people who haven’t touched grass since 2004, and H2A is held together by a piece of string cheese.

H2 classic has worst hig reg than the original game on xbox ( 343 confirmed it) and it’s populated almost exclusively by tryhards/veterans.
Also, you should turn up brightness because it’s often difficult to see enemies clearly on some maps, especially warlock
I like it a lot but you have to know its problems
