I beat the campaign on legendary and didn’t like my BtB playlist (vehicle spawn drops) so I just stopped playing because there wasn’t much left I like to play. It’s been 2 months. Also my spartan basically looks the same because of the paywall in customization. Also didn’t like the progression system at all.
Just curious what have I missed ? I see a lot of people complaining still. What is 343 doing?
You haven’t missed much and they’ve made it pretty clear nothing meaningful will change until Season 2.
That’s a great question. To this point I mainly play just to stay connected with friends and family. Also, to try my absolute hardest just to get dumped on. 
They keep saying S2 will have a bunch of updates but I still wouldn’t hold my breath…
It is still a fecal fiesta. Lots of problems still and people are running out of patience with 343.
Not much. Waypoint is filled with people rightfully complaining and then a few who are most likely 343 team members on alt accounts who will die on a hill defending the game.
The game is pretty much the same as when you left it.
343 is showing how they like to hide, and they are hoping by staying silent that their problems will go away.
Never mind that they are literally the problem why this entire game has problems and hasn’t really moved for since it launched.
Few bugs got fixed. Challenges are inaccurate. Still a pay wall.

Right, they haven’t even talked about how the development for Co op campaign is going. Like even a small hey here’s how it is coming together. I have a feeling it won’t be there.
The campaign was a paid product, and they haven’t even delivered a full Campaign expereince yet.
Either it’s ready and they are witholding it to fill out S2 or Co op campaign is falling apart and no where near being ready by season 2.
I’m just fully expecting them to give us the whole, just wait till season 3 BS.

I haven’t played in a week since the weekly reward is pointless. There’s literally no reason for me to play Halo right now and it’s crazy to think that, considering I’ve played nothing but Halo most of the time since Halo 1.
I logged on to see the Twitch drop had unlocked and then came off again.
343 are destroying Halo and it’s actually kind of sad.
Questions for you … You have been away for a bit, since 343 has “fixed” some things, does it feel different/better than before? Does it run any different than you remember? Matching/ping better or worse than before?
BTB is working again. Biggest difference. Radar got slightly upgraded in it, too.
Nothing, they are doing nothing.
But at some point they will do something, and when they do…They will F. it up again.
Just let the game die, forget about it.
I’m in the same situation. I’ve been coming back every couple of weeks to see if things improved and they simply haven’t. I was filing bug reports and feedback to their HI Support site, which they did respond too (and most companies, like Bungle or Behtesda don’t), but nothing is ever fixed.
Their Automatic Server selector is still tossing me into BTB matches where ping times are 75 to 250 ms, with occasional matches as low as 30 ms. For 4v4 matches, it’s anywhere from 25 ms to 250 ms, depending on what server they automagically select for me. Makes PvP unfun, broken and unplayable erratic. They need to allow me to pick my server and let me play with the lowest ping times possible. I’m in Western Canada, I don’t use GeoSpatial filtering, so I see zero reason why I wind up playing against people with German or Russian (Cyrillic) Gamer tags
If i want unpredictable network matches, i can go and play Peer to Peer Destiny which has no servers.

where I grapple a player, do my Melee as I pull towards them and nothing happens except I pass through them.
They really poo’d the bed hard when they made the PvP part of the game. I did love the campaign though and likely will talk a friend into doing a LASO run when co-op drops.
