Check here for some info and pictures of three Multiplayer maps: Haven, Adrift, and Longbow.
I personally think Longbow looks amazing. They did a good job separating the two sides - one with snow and the other without snow, with trees, and with buildings - and hopefully it will bring some excellent BTB games. I know that many were fond of Highlands, even though only a few people bought it. Hopefully Longbow will bring those same intense games. I also really like the aesthetics, and I know many other people enjoy snow maps.
Adrift seems like a Comdemned-style map, with a bunch of small corridors but a big room in the middle. Hopefully it won’t be as big and confusing to navigate, but I’m liking what I’ve seen from the height differences on each level. It reminds me of Damnation, where if you have a height advantage, you’ll benefit greatly.
Haven reminds me of Assembly from Halo 3. It’s circular, has two layers, and the battle seems to flow through the middle a lot. Again, we see a huge height difference between the two levels, but hopefully it won’t hurt gameplay too much. Again, I like the aesthetics, but I can’t tell much more about this map.
Your thoughts?
Highlands = Second best BTB map I’ve ever played in my life. (First being Standoff.)
I really hope they live up to what I see in the videos. Personally, I think they’ll exceed expectations.

I kind of agree. While I liked Valhalla and Sandtrap more than Standoff, I think Highlands was an amazing map. It illustrated that 343 was able to create large maps with enough combat for everyone - shotguns, snipers, lazers, and vehicles. What else is there?
Longbow looks amazing.
Haven looks like one of the halo 3 maps (i cant remember the name though)

Did you read my post at all? I said it looked like Assembly to me (the layout, obviously not the aesthetics). You might be thinking of Narrows as well.
I’m pretty sure that people will be sniping from the Longbow roller coaster thing. If it’s accessible.

The first two are wraparound and war house.
Looks like they got a name change.
Condemned isn’t difficult to navigate. It’s a circle with a room in the middle.

I know LOL. Just didn’t see that page before, and I thought the pictures would be nice to see.

I doubt it will be accessible, since it’s so high up and I don’t see any clear paths up to it.

343i didn’t make the Anniversary or Defiant maps, you can thank Certain affinity for that.

I think they said that Certain Affinity is helping out with the DLC

A few paragraphs down and you’ll find that it says “343i also had Highlands on display…”
Even if it was Certain Affinity, aren’t they under 343i?
