Many of you have ideas to help keep the franchise moving, but have you tried putting your energy to action, other than writing lengthy threads/posts concerning your ideas.
I would love to, but I’m underage.
Getting hired by 343 seems highly unlikely.
It might be easier to offer help if they, you know, responded at all.
I direct my energy to this forum to help people realize Halo 4 isn’t a good game.
I did on the forums. But every time I tried talking to someone like an adult they just started disrespecting me and posting facepalm pics.
Depends really, 343’s communication with the UK hasnt really enbled me to actually do anything but write stuff
i would love to work for 343 and im sure many people would, but i dont think they will just hire somebody off waypoint who has no experience with game development…even if they have good ideas or not.
Not really because MS and 343 are the type of game developer I DONT want to work for. Lazy, greedy, bad quality workmanship, and ignorant of the customer base. If they were to hire me, they would get quality VO for UK accents, top notch QA and bug reporting, quality map design and contruction, and a shedload of unique and interesting fun additions and ideas to the game.
Personally I would love to work for Relic entertainment or Bethesda game studios. Its just a shame games companies keep hiring tards on their “cred” in the industry and tadgers just out of college who wouldnt know a good game if it bit them on the nose. I mean really who gives a crap WHO makes a game, all we really care about is QUALITY work.

You still maybe able to consult or volunteer…
Was this a serious question? O.o
Anyway, I wouldn’t want to work for -Yoink!- or a company that has very, VERY poorly managed one of the most anticipated games in years.
Because climbing the corporate ladder so that you are actually listened to is easy and simple.
So all these people here with their infinite wisdom of “how the game should be” but not the fortitude to even try to really make a difference. COWARDS!!! No wonder people don’t listen to you!

Actually you’re wrong. I’m pretty good artist and I’ve won some awards and worked professionally for a couple various business on logos and graphics. I’ve trained in Perspective to Conceptual Art while being interned with Chris Bachalo for a summer when he was working for Vertigo on the Shade and the first Death series. I know my way around Photoshop, Painter Pro, and I’ve used Z_brush and Mudbox. Though I’m weak on those because I can’t really afford the rig to run them right now in order to gain the professional ground I really need, I know how to use a Wacom Tablet and I’ve put together three game conceptual portfolios show casing my art…and I’ve sent 343 a resume and applied.
So yeah I tried. I didn’t get a job but that’s how it goes. I know the guys who got hired are some of the best and I’m still in the bush leagues learning. But I did try to contribute through local hiring channels.
So yes there is someone here who actually tried to get hired to bring his take on Halo. It’s good thing though I didn’t get a job because you’d all be running around in jet powered Tanks while Wraith sized Hunters would be stomping your armored butts into goo.
