Have you had your Halo 4 "Nerd Chills" yet?

Nerd Chills [Ner-duh·chil]
1. The gellid sensation or tingle occurring along the vertebral column of the neck in the event of an unrestrainable nerd love episode.

So, whether Nerd Chills are familiar to you or aren’t not, where was “that moment” that just astounded and inspired you in your current following of Halo 4? Perhaps you haven’t even had it yet and have been finding the upcoming title overwhelmingly dull, well, what do you think Three-Four-Three could do to impress that feeling upon you?

I have had them twice throughout Halo 4’s development; The first was when the Soundtrack Samples video was uploaded, and though I found most of it very average for the Halo series (I felt like most of it would fit better to a Transformers movie, seriously, re-watch it and pretend that Optimus Prime is talking over the top, fits perfectly) but that 2:30 just wowed me. The second from memory spanned for the whole 7 minutes of the E3 campaign footage(I’m glad no one was around to see me watch that trailer…) especially at Cortana’s scream, “Yikes :/”.

Throughout the entire E3 Halo 4 presentation. Hearing and seeing it all…

I heard his foot-steps. In the previous games, they were not the pronounced. Not only did I hear them, they sounded heavy and real, like how a Spartan’s feet should sound.

The best moment was E3 2011, the announcement of Halo 4.
And then again at E3 2012, the demo of course.

several times watching the various gameplay videos

When the Promethean Knight showed its face under it’s helmet I had the equivalent of a nerd chills -Yoink!-.

I had them throughout the whole presentation, but when I saw that Light Rifle… ooooh. Biggest nerd chill ever
