Apparently players are reporting losing oddball games even though they win 2 sets simply because the teams total score was lower. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, that makes oddball broken and it should be removed from the rotation until its patched.

It has happened to me yes. Worst part about it was we clutched the 3rd round real hard. I killed the carrier on 99 seconds and we got the ball and won. It was an epic win and we all deranked lol.
I think with the large number of teams entering the HCS tournies it should be kept in so players can practice it even if it has a frustrating outcome in that scenario. Hopefully they patch it asap.

I haven’t personally seen this issue or currently know anyone who’s experienced this issue.
Yeah I had a memorable oddball match a couple days ago where we lost the first round then came back with the reverse sweep and won the next 2 rounds. We lost the game and I deranked from diamond 5 to diamond 4, lost a good 40% of my rank exp bar. It was memorable because it so stunning how I did everything I could to win that game but it still gave me a loss and took a metric ton of exp on top of it

Why are they even rounds then? Should just be a single round at that point.
