Maybe a dumb question, but I don’t know where else to ask this…
I use my main account to play with my buddies in Halo 5. But I want to make a second account to just goof around with solo. See if I get higher or lower ranked than playing with them.
Now it is a very simple question. When I’m about to make a new account it asks me for my e-mail address. Am I supposed to use the same e-mail address as my main account (because that is my Xbox live account address) or am I supposed to add a different e-mail address?
Ideally I would use the same e-mail address, but I’m not sure if I overwrite things from my main account or mess things up.
So long story short: Can I use the same e-mail address for all accounts I make?

Was that other account created with a different e-mail address? It’s literally impossible to link two Xbox accounts together.

Sorry for my vague questions.
I was under the impression that I had ONE Xbox live gold account that was linked to ONE e-mailaddress. And that I could make 5 gamertags on my Xbox with that Xbox live account. So for that reason I thought all 5 accounts/gamertags should be linked to ONE e-mail address.
But when I read your comments I feel like if I want to make 4 new gamertags I should also have 4 new e-mailaddresses. Is that correct?
