I don’t know about you but every time I think it’s close to the end of the game and our team is about to win the score gets tied and we end up losing. Even after first few times of it happening to me I never learn. Let me know if that has ever happen to you.
Just another reason why I don’t -Yoink!- other players.
EDIT: Besides, I am not a jerk!
No hasn’t happened to me from that I remember.
Personally, no. But I do remember watching the HWC Las Vegas qualifiers, where Snip3down teabagged some of the Team Liquid players before they came back and destroyed EnVyUs.
That will only happen in the most intense games that are also the funniest. However, I can only tell victory when our team has a major lead like 10 kills in slayer or 250 victory points in Warzone.
Yes, a few times actually, but I normally beat people even though I’m teabagging.
Only in customs, when I thought I won in comes mr. warthog coming for my booty
I have made people celebrating pay for it, especially teabaggers, I don’t celebrate. In terms of thinking the game is won, it is always in play especially if there is still a boss being contested.

Never celebrate even with a 250 point lead in Warzone. I’ve had Warzone games down by over 500 points, pushed for a trip cap and cored. I’ve actually been on both sides of that. I’ve even been on teams that reversed trip caps to come back and core down by over 500 points. This is why quitters piss me off so much, comebacks are real if you don’t give up so quickly. It’s really bad when a team manages to cap your armory right out of the gate and it’s just “player left” over and over on the feed. No wonder so many people suck at life. God forbid they have to try.
I only celebrate by pumping my fist in the air when I get the winning kill, never before it’s finished.
Yeah. I celebrate every time I get a kill, but then I usually get shot and killed by another member of the team.
Nope. I don’t -Yoink!- until teabagged myself out of sportsmanship, and usually when somebody does to me, it’s the nail in the coffin in my book. They become my main target for the rest of the game.
Usually me and my friends celebrate when we capture all of the bases in Warzone and have a lot of kills but somehow they end up gaining the lead and winning.
No not in game. Not in real life either.

in destiny during a race, I crossed the finish line, first place, started spinning, wondered why the game didn’t end, I found out that i just finished the second out of three laps,
I finished last.

A very sad story.
Yes. In a doubles match I had no deaths and over 15 kills. One person on the other team had alreaady quit. We had around 23 kills and the win was safe. Nothing was going to change that. I relaxed thinking I was about to get perfection. In the last 5 seconds the guy on the enemy team that didnt quit comes up behind us. Stuck me and my teammate. The game ended one second after that while I was dead. No perfection. Just sadness.
I remember this happening the other way around - I really thought we’d lost a match and suddenly it turns around big time.
Just a few days ago a stronghold match 3 - 88 against us and in the end we won that match.
Either way I wouldn’t celebrate or give up too early - the match is over when the carnage report comes up.
Oh, and that stronghold example is one reason why I am not so sure about that ‘surrender’ feature that has been requested
I’ve been in a lot of matches where it’s come down to who gets the final boss kill. Leading teams can sometimes get complacent, focus too much on killing Spartans and ignore the bosses. It’s a chance to come back by either stealing those boss kills or capturing that unmanned base. So you should never celebrate before you see that Victory screen lol. Plus I think those close matches are more enjoyable. Everyone is pulling out their best REQs, it’s absolute chaos, it’s great!

yeah, but ever since then , I learned not to celebrate my victories, but to ensure that the victory continues.
