I know 343 has wanted to get more people to play halo 4 than just the veterans but how will they reward old timers, Halo reach had Legacy and nameplates but that was bungi and now i am unsure about being mistaken for a n00b in matchmaking.
prehaps a special custom nameplate for old games or a unique helmet, just ideas.
if anyone knows anything please coment or if you have an idea say here…

This whole ‘‘We are veterans, we DESERVE something’’ is a overall bad idea. You’ll probaly get something extra spartan points, but no unique stuff. We all saw how that worked for the ‘‘special people’’ in Halo 3.

I like how Bungie did it in Reach with the nameplates.
You shouldn’t get a major reward just for having/playing the game longer than other players.
no nothing massive i just feel that playing all 7 of the other halo games since the original CE on the old xbox, some small gratification from 343 for spending so much time and investment on halo.

You shouldn’t get an award because you’ve enjoyed yourself playing a game. If you’re talking about it in terms money, then I got news for you. All the other games were owned by Bungie (bar CEA), so 343 owe you nothing.

I don’t think that’s what he meant. I think he meant that since he has been a loyal fan he deserves something of gratitude, such as something small that Reach offered, like nameplates. I’m honestly on the OP’s boat with this. I’ve been playing since the late Halo CE stage and I want something that shows that I have devoted time towards the game and I am a loyal fan.

This will be the first game 343 has ever done on its own, so i hope this next trilogy is brilliant!
