Have the perks been debunked?

Once 343i announced a perks system I decided I would not bother with Halo 4 at all until it hit the bargain bins at Gamestop…but then they made a statement saying that the media was supposedly exaggerating about it. Did they ever say how any of them would work, if at all?

To me it’s the ONE THING that breaks the “Halo” feel of it, and with 343’s shoddy understanding of ‘updating’ Halo Reach in multiplayer I’m not feeling they’re even competent for Halo 4.

They didn’t.

So you believe that Halo should stay in the arena FPS genre, and not give us another one of the 10 class-based shooters already out there?

It was said early on that 343 never announced perks. The word “perks” was apparently brought up to describe some of the things that 343 talked about in the ViDoc and everyone went into a frenzy.

What part of 343’s updates do you have a problem with? If anything they brought Reach as close as possible to the traditional “Halo” feel with some of their changes.

I see. Well I feel like a misinformed -Yoink- now.
