Today has been my worst day on any Halo ever! I’ve witnessed the unimaginable, died hundreds of times and gasped in sheer awe at the invincible super soldiers that are American players on American servers. I actually quit my last game I just couldn’t take it anymore. Below are a couple of incredible moves from players I have encountered throughout the living nightmare that is Halo 5 this weekend.

Was playing when it was 6am in USA and I still got matched with the same USA players 3 times in a row jumbled around, so nothing would surprise me probably no European players left around playing only us mugs.
Just played a match on a EU server, i’m dead serious.

Yep…
The EU servers are on but you rarely get matched on them, especially during US peak hours. Region lock for EU was removed a while ago and most games are on US servers. It´s been awful ever since region lock was removed. Not that I was too impressed with the netcode of the game on EU servers either but still better than US servers of course.
This situation is extremely annoying and disappointing. 343 absolutely have to provide a choice for players in matchmaking so they can chose if they want to be matched on region lock or not.

I know what you mean the game was fine for me up until this weekend whereas I even can’t buy a kill against silver ranks, it’s like everyone’s in god mode. Unplayable

It’s been bad since they removed region lock, but if you were lucky enough to be playing at the right time of day you could still find reasonable games. I’ve put up with and continued to play because I love Halo. This weekend however is like nothing I’ve ever experienced! I wish I had recorded more clips. The only reason I haven’t is because I spent too much tine jaw dropped, trying to understand how I’ve been shot through a wall etc.
It HAS been BAD AF today. SO SAD

Wow! I thought my clips were bad lol. I had the same thing happen with my reqs yesterday.

I´ve had games when I can´t actually use my reqs at all but have to do with the pistol and AR a whole Warzone game and scavenge for dropped power weapons. This while others have access to all their power weapons and vehicles. Great “fun” ya know…
