Note this is a personal opinion
Let’s face it guys, girls and grunts.
The info for Halo 4 so far has been a grind.
It’s a scary, scary time for us Halo fans.
we feel like we are being betrayed. but seriously are we?
Although I’ll admit I seriously did like a lot of people
have a heart attack at the IGN feature.
Past Scars
Bungie bless them, tried to evolve Halo.
Reach had some great idea’s although implementation and I think time restraints made it impossible to make the game decent.
They after all had to see this one through, then they went on to start building for their new IP.
Entrusting of a new studio with our baby
343 is a company built of ex bungie and other AAA developers.
who have had years in the industry and have made some classic games. I’m sure they are listening to us moan and have such huge pressure from us the fans and lets not forget Microsoft.
things to like.
maps made for multiplayer not just single player maps adapted.
BR is back, the Covenant Carbine is too and also the “assault carbine”
which I assume will be the DMR which without bloom will be pretty darn cool!
It’s a NEW halo game!!!
Things to be worried about.
Nothing, as we have no control, we just have to take this as the roller coaster of a ride this will be. I generally want to see real game play of all new features, maps. I’m sure if the new features are that bad for “Retro” players they’ll include some form of “classic” playlist for them to dwell in.
Closing statement
All in all we as a community are one of the most passionate.
the most creative, the most competitive,
the ones who have been on xbox live since the start
we are the ones they need to impress.
I’m sure they have many sleepless nights about our reactions.
end of the day, who cares about the “IGN” review?
If the fans aren’t melting servers, investing their time to create new maps, machinima, montages, and xbox gold into Halo 4
that is the real failure
