I’ve noticed from videos of customization options that the halo 5 emblems have abandoned having a background, like how the emblems were with an actual background like putting an emblem in front of a solid background like the shield, circle, gradient, etc… Personally I believe this could cause problems within the clan community because there is already disputes over people using other clans emblems. Will it be possible to keep emblems fresh and new or will it turn into halo reach where majority of the unsc clan community uses very similar to exactly the same emblems?
Yes, I think so. I can’t use my staple Blue flaming helmet emblem. Also this limits creativity and the possibilities of creating emblems.
I think so. I prefer to have many shapes/images that we can merge together and create something new. It’s like having a paintbrush and a canvas as opposed to the Halo 5 way of doing things which is more like a coloring book and some crayons.
They either need to implement the shapes/images, or allow Companies to upload logos. Uploaded images would need some way to be vetted, or have some reporting capabilities so ‘bad’ images can be nixxed.
It is not really that bad, most people didn’t customize their emblem anyway. But I hope you will be able to choose your companies logo.

Back in my day, when Emblems were first introduced in Halo 2… Every other emblem was something that looked like a -Yoink!-. THAT is most likely why they removed customization. lol
I can’t even recreate it in the Companies creator. Sad Omza is sad.
Yes and no. The full emblem and banner thing is cool, but the lack of full customization is not cool.
reach had the best system i think. I also miss how the emblem would appear on your armor
I don’t understand why they would take away the classic halo emblems. The ability to customize them and make awesome creations out of them was fun, and added another level of character customization to the game. Oh well, RIP.
I prefer the new system tbh. Like who ever noticed the emblem on you anyways.
I am always willing to check out something new for myself before bashing it. With that being said, I think it could be a good way to give a fresh look to the game and Im looking forward to it.

Yeah, but I got over it fairly quickly. My flaming skull king will reside in the MCC until 343 decides to bring it into Halo 5. I think I can wait. I think.
I like it, as long as they keep updating it and adding more every now and then.
It doesn’t affect my gameplay so I’m fine with it.
I am surprised that 343 never took the full emblem customization idea from Treyarch within CoD:BO2. The amount of creativity was limitless with the layers that you implement into your emblem. Few things that CoD has done better than halo.
All I know is that 343 is listening to the fans now. If we hate what they do at launch… they will probably fix it and implement what we want.
