In some regards, everything is always a work in progress as we’re constantly fine-tuning the Halo Waypoint experience. Right now the web team is focused on bringing the Halo: Reach File Share to our website, so I don’t anticipate a big overhaul to stats in the near future. That being said, there are some bugs and minor issues that will be addressed soon.

I like this one, but what do you mean by more customization? Like different backgrounds and stuff?

As far as forums go, we’re working on expanding our avatar selection, but I don’t think profile customization is on the list of things to do. And your favorite articles idea is a great one. I think bookmarking is your best option for now. (Did you notice we added tagging to articles last week? Hopefully that’s coming in handy!)

The website gets updated every few weeks. Forum fixes are included in those.
The sign-in issue you mentioned is related to the service we use for authentication. The best workaround for that is signing out regularly.
White hyperlinks mean you have already clicked on that link, and that behavior is consistent across our site. I know it’s less than optimal with the lighter forum background, but everything is functioning as it should.

Alright, I have a question about the Custom Challenge feature.
Are there any planned updates for this? Maybe to allow us to go further in depth with our challenges? Like, let’s say I want to make a challenge for getting a specific number of assassinations in a day. Are there any plans for this?

Not to my knowledge, but that’s a great suggestion. Something I’d personally like to see is a wide variety of avatars that reflect all the different Halo games. That way everybody can choose something that accurately represents their favorite Halo game/character/etc. If you feel some games are underrepresented, please let me know so we can add more!

While we’re working to improve the overall performance of the Custom Challenge feature (page loading times, turning them in consistently across all the screens, etc), we don’t have plans to make significant changes to it that would allow for the creation of different challenges.
The Assassination Challenge sounds fun, though. You should set up a medal Challenge, and see how many assassinations you can get within a certain time frame. Back in the days of Halo 2, I’d sometimes play games where I wouldn’t shoot and do melees only. It was fun but hard, lol…

On an off note, as for the assassinations. In Halo 3 I loved the gametype Pit of Joy in the Action Sack playlist for that purpose, my best friend and I would pick that gametype specifically just to see who could trump the other in terms of assassinations. We always went back and forth until I had a really good game and received a total of 22 in a single match. Oh, good times. We often joke about how he will sometimes deny that match as reality.
But, before this thread goes too far off track. I have another question.
Are there any future plans for allowing us to use our Emblem as our avatar? Or maybe even an upper body shot of our player model?

The idea is on our radar, although there is not a commitment or a time frame associated with it. Good call on that, though. I shot off a few emails after reading your post.
