From the small tidbit about the TU in the bulletin I have a feeling the overhaul TU many hoped for is not going to happen. I could be wrong, but a small DMR nerf not even a notable change? Its the most complained about thing on the forums.

I agree. I’m hoping 343 wants the DMR nerf to be surprise or something.
I feel as though, if they removed flinch and added knock out of scope, it would be more balanced.

One, not everything that will be in the TU was listed. Two not everything we want will be in a single TU, its kind of absurd to think it would be.
Id prefer the boltshot getting nerfed over the DMR.

They have now been working on the TU for a few months, it doesn’t seem particularly herculean to change two weapons. You are correct that may not have been listed in the TU, but its omission is at the very least concerning.
To reiterate why the DMR is overpowered:
-Second fastest primary kill-time (behind only the scoped LR)
-Farthest-range
-No-spread
-Best scope
The DMR must be fixed in this game, and this sentiment comes from an avid user.
In addition, there is no mention of changes to Active Camouflage. It would be great to see a solution to this problem.
Yep, the DMR needs some serious tweaking.
More custom game options would also be great, especially before multi-team comes out.

I guess its maybe to you it may be a little absurd to think you would have gotten a complete and polished game for 60 dollars on November 6.

If the items listed really are “big ticket” items, this TU will barely scratch the surface of what needs to be fixed.
Read carefully:
“It addresses some of the concerns”, not many of the concerns, not most of, not a lot of… just some
“we know we still have work to do” should be something you hear, you know, before the game is released.
“to investigate the feasibility of additional fixes” means they doubt they can fix the game
Please finish Halo 5 before releasing it!

Because we want the game to fulfill its potential. We want Halo 4 to be the #1 game in the universe. And we want 343 to be the greatest developer in the universe. We also want future Halo games to improve upon the potential Halo 4 reached.
In short, we do it for love.
Well, at least they heard our cries for a Boltshot nerf.
