So it seems the only way right now to look at file shares are via looking up a Gamertag. The example being below! Do you have a map to share? Maybe it’s a Race track, mini game or another awesome thing. Just post your Gamertag below and let the searching start.

To download from Halo 4:

  1. Press start
  2. Locate “File Browser”
  3. “Map Variants or the area it’s saved in”
  4. “File Share Search”
  5. “Gamertag”
  6. Type the Gamertag of the other user.
  7. Press “Search”
  8. Download & enjoy!

Just bumping this thread encase anyone wants to share their work with other Halo 4 players. For now it seems it’s the only way until 343 fixes the file share system.

I really hope this gets fixed. I’ve never really been talented with Forge but I love playing what everyone else has created. I would love to see a Halo 4 “Speed Halo” map.

Any idea what the ETA for the computer friendly file browser will be available? Since my cap card doesn’t work, need to get the replays somehow. :slight_smile:

Well just hit me up online Hammer! I have a AVer Media Game Capture HD so I can go into theater and record what you need in 720p.

Also, I do have a few Gamertags that people here can look up. Mainly “Race tracks” but still looking around for normal maps. If any of you want some Race tracks, Splat a Mole or other awesome maps just post below and I’ll provide who to look up in game.

I have found someone who’s working on a Race Gametype and at this moment it’s in working order just being tweaked and updated. Overall it works!

So here is a few Gamertags to look up for some awesome times. Also, to find the game types you’ll need to look up the game type and not the map var. Anyways the Gamertags have been provided below so we all can have a great time.

Once I hear back from others if they want to have their GT shared here in this thread I’ll update.

It’s definitely not a spectacular original map but just a typical 1v1 octagon map to warm up is what I have, game type included under Jugwuar (although I can’t seem to turn off instant re spawns, even through increasing the death timer, any ideas?).
