Have a choice to turn off cross play and only play with console users

Give us the option to turn off cross play and play with console players only their are a lot of cases where PC has a huge advantage over players on consoles with internet connections

my issue is with the cheaters, I have no idea why this wasn’t even in the menu by default in the first place.

I agree mouse and keyboard has a advantage not much but it’s enough I know I use to be one for awhile still had my console and sold the PC

Segregation already had a framework established in the ranked mode, it shouldn’t be that difficult to apply it to console of choice.

I think they’re more interested in keeping inputs as the factor though.

I swear there’s a new excuse every time I read one of these posts.

Just say you wanna play with only console players. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s simple, easy to understand and everyone can just go “ok that makes sense”.

The advantage lies with the console/input a player is most comfortable with.

Though objectively, controller does have higher represented average stats.

How often do you run into cheaters?

first of all, even if you do it with DUO and controller input only, you STILL PLAY WITH PC PLAYERS. I want a complete CONSOLE player. NO windows PC player crap.

Like the OG XBOX LIVE style.

I’m aware of the current limitations, which is why I referenced the framework that is the basis for these limitations.

While Solo/Duo’s has Keyboard/Controller as it’s “Input” options, “Open” Ranked has “crossplay” under the input section implying that console segregation is different than Keyboard/Controller. Crossplay doesn’t describe choice of input, it has always been used to describe console of choice.

Man I’m about feed up with all the PC hacks and then 343i banning me cause I don’t want to be bullied by the hacks so instead I get bullied by 343i. What a toxic waste of space this whole thing is. So now cause I can’t t turn off cross play and if I want to play the game I’ve loved for 20 years I have to take abuse from the people cheating and then abuse from the creators of the game.
