Basically title says it all
Is it worth spending months on end trying to rank up
or
just something that’s become meaningless to have now everyone’s got it
If you like it and think it looks cool then sure, it’s worth it.
Depends on how much you value the helmet, if you think it is cool and want it, then i’d say it’s worth it.
So it’s pree much about whether you like it or not
Yeah?
No.
If you’re however an avid fan of the multiplayer and prefer to continue playing it over other games, etc. Then it is a nice bonus helmet, showcasing your investment into the game.
But specifically farming for it, etc. Is just meh.
All the more since armors do not transfer, and games are made redudant by the yearly sequels’ la COD, in your case - Halo 4 is impending, not far off - you wouldn’t be able to enjoy the helm for too long before you’d put that Reach CD into it’s bawx and onto the shelf to collect dust.
Moa says it would take you a total of 100 days to get to Inheritor from Recruit using custom challenges.
I have it and don’t use it soooo
So to me NO but to many others sure
In my opinion it’s worth it only if you like it.
I’ll be inheritor around 28th august.
At this rate it’d take me til November 6 2013 to get all the helmets lol. I’m just gonna work on getting the Chief’s Halo 3 Helmet and his firefight voice then I’m out.
If the sole reason you are playing Reach is to get the inheritor helmet, it’s not worth it. 20m cR (20,000,000, just so you can see how many zeros we’re talking about :P) is a lot to feel obligated to try and get, which indicates that you’ll do things you don’t think are fun to get there. If you’re not having fun, I suggest stopping and doing something that is.
If you’re more interested in playing the game just to play the game, and have a lot of free time to kill (no pun intended), the haunted helmet is a little bonus something that you’ll be able to get to eventually and it becomes a matter of not if but when. Should you choose to wear it, it’ll be there for you.
TL;DR 1st paragraph: If you’re forcing yourself to play so you can wear the helmet, just stop.
TL;DR 2nd paragraph: If you’re playing just to play then it’ll be there one day, no worries brah.
Personally, I don’t care for it, nor do I give a Yoink! about rank anymore. I see it on Inheritors all the time and it’s overrated quite frankly.
But when you reach Inheritor and just feel like swapping, you’re of course more than welcome to wear it.
Halo 4 is being released soon and looking at your current rank I’d say you would have the helmet by the time Halo 4 is being released. When that time comes I don’t think Reach will have many players left playing the game.
As some have mentioned already, the choice is ultimately up to you. If you think it is special enough to warrant your time then go for it. Along the way you might another piece of armor that takes your fancy more and you might like that one more.
It jus depends on what u want to look like. I like the Halo 3 scout helmet but Reach doesnt have it so I havent changed helmets.

I’m an Inheritor with no haunted, it’s all pointless in Reach when it comes to Rank, the cR and the Armor (aka Barbie clothes).

Why is your spartan a default woman?
I don’t like it. I just wanted to get to inheritor to be a max rank.
personally i want to get to inheritor because i am an armor completionist. but i would be there already if i didnt lose live for a year so i am boosting for it right now so that i can take a good break before halo 4 comes out so that i am not totally burned out on shooters.

I don’t have it. I don’t play Halo like it’s my job
I think it’s worth it. It looks really cool to me.
