I can’t believe that being disappointed with halo 5 would have me enjoying halo 4. For the record I hated halo 4, but for some reason after playing halo 5 beta and losing interest it, playing halo 4 after the mcc update, I’m enjoying halo 4 alot. For some reason it give me a feeling of the halo glory days. I guess getting used to the constant sprinting and fast paced on 5 made playing 2 and 3 hard to adjust to the slower pace after the beta ended, but it felt pretty natural going back to 4. Maybe Ive definitely lost my mine waiting on mcc to function but if I can’t play reach them halo 4 keeping me interested.
I honestly can’t fathom how you could like Halo 4 more than Halo 5.
definitely never like halo 4, but wasn’t Imptessed with 5 at all. It was basic and generic at best. After awhile on the beta I felt no motivation to play it. But after the mcc update halo 4 felt fun, halo 5 was all about br. The whole game was just seemed to revolve around the br. People grouped up and that was the entire game. Cat and mouse. Going back to 4, everyone is battling big time, no camping

It happens with most games, when a new game comes out, you will learn to appreciate the older ones. Halo Reach was hated by a lot of people, but it’s player count took a drop when Halo 4 came out, then bounced right back up two weeks later, because Reach was simply the better game. The same thing may happen with 5 if it isn’t good.
you absolutely right about that cause I remember how fast reach had more online players after than halo 4 in a very short time. If reach was on xbox one that would be my go to halo game.

Were you playing Legendary Slayer for Halo 4, or Standard? BIG difference.

Can’t tell if your trolling. With the AR and SMG you felt the game was all about the BR? What about halo 2 and 3? Lol

Barebones Halo 4 (Legendary Slayer) feels way more like a Halo than Halo 5. If Legendary Slayer was the default gametype instead of Infinity Slayer then Halo 4 would not have nearly as bad a rep.
halo 4 is an awesome game, especially BTB mode… it’s a shame that the dedicated halo-4 playlist on MCC excludes BTB (and all those big maps!!)
it runs even better on the Xbone because gameplay is faster (compared to the 360)… it really tests your reflexes and can wear you out because it’s so intense
I love all things Halo so I am perpetually happy with the franchise lol.
Halo 4 is awsome, I find it hard getting back into the halo 2 and 3 I love so dearly, halo 4 is just a lot more fun, stop hating on 343 ppl they are doing a good job and my thoughts on halo 5 beta is that it looks like it’s gonna be another amazing game added to the halo collection
It’s simple really. Once you play something you dint enjoy you learn to enjoy what you took for granted previously. That and Halo 4 post patch actually was pretty good. Minus the crappy vehicle health and loadouts if Halo 4 had been set up more like Halo 3 it probably would be my favorite.

I like Halo 4 more. Hell with all the balance issues and bugs that weren’t supposed to be in the beta (how do you accidentally code flinch into a new engine among other things? Halo 4 post patch actually worked very well. It would’ve been better if they didn’t have loadouts and the god awful vehicle health system that they did.
Halo 5 just got really boring to me. I know advanced warfare took the thrusters and stuff up after Halo, but honestly I’m reminded of AW when I play Halo 5 and I don’t like that. Show us some BTB next time and give us all of the returning weapons sandbox so we can see what is and isn’t balanced. Also that ranking system is horrendous I don’t care who tries to defend it. I experienced first hand multiple times how that ranking system worked and it wasn’t good. Beta or no that isn’t encouraging to me, especially since they repeatedly ignore ranked and social playlists.
As it stands I’m just going to wait. Halo 5 hasn’t in any way proven to me why I should buy it new let alone pre-order it. We saw a tiny snippet of mp and after they butchered the MCC and took as long as they did to get all of Halo 4 up and running and updated I don’t really have faith in 343.
for some reason It feels much better on the Xbox one, seems like the Controls are more responsive, not sure if 343 changed anything when they ported it in the mcc but it definitely feels different.

yep. 100% agree. it’s almost like a new game
i played halo-4 to death on x360 and got sick of it, but find myself playing halo-4 on mcc everyday now…
wouldn’t it be awesome if you could play any version of halo on any map (e.g. Halo-4 on Avalanche or Isolation)
I completely agree with u. In its current state I have no plans to buy halo 5 unless I see it in its completed form, but I’m happy now that I’ll have something to run back to for my halo experience.
