I loved Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and yes, I love Halo: Reach. Each title has done some things better then others, but I’ve adapted to the changes, just like all of you had too, and had a blast with each and every one of these gems.
There has been so much hate towards the new title (I was once a hater) just like there has been for past games, and we still ended up playing the -Yoink- out of all of them, as we will Halo 4.
I think we have been blowing all these tweaks out of proportion, especially since no one has played it yet (no beta available, hate). Things would be a little easier to swallow if we had more info. I feel that the lack of knowledge we have is just letting our imaginations (we’re gammers, we have large imaginations) run wild. We’ve been taking the smallest bits of data and turning them into our worst fear, an extinct Halo Franchise.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, give 343 a little credit and have some faith!
I agree with you, people should definitely give 343 Industries more credibility and faith than they currently do. It’s not fair to pre-judge Halo 4 and the rest of 343 Industries based on the dislike of Halo Reach, Bungie’s game (which I personaly love, but that’s just me).
I don’t have a problem with gammers hating on a game that they have played and experienced. But to say your not going to buy it just out of speculation from a bunch jumbled rumors and facts? Come on guys (and girls).
I was actually expecting more people to hate on my anti-hating. So I guess this is good news!
Everything I have seen and read and heard about halo 4 has done nothing but get me more excited about it!
I am one of the few people that thoroughly enjoyed the crap out of reach. I love it. I don’t care what people say about it, everyone is entitled to their own opinions of course!
I hate armor lock, and that’s it. Everything was a fresh take on an already amazing game, and I like to mix it up a bit from time to time.
Bloom was ok, got used to it.
Love sprinting and evading. So much fun.
Halo 4 will be incredible. I know it.
